Which in turn is a rehash of another older article. Tells us nothing new whatsoever. That’s just a rehash of the other article.
Why not ? a desperate lower PL club paying over the odds in a bid to stay up. I mean we did it most seasons for a decade. Not likely in this case though I'd have thought with contract as it is.
He was never going to sign.We need to set him a deadline , if he isn’t signing by the window open then we can sell him and look for other options .
Can’t let it drag on to next season
Yes, he did. A controlling shareholding is 50% plus one share/vote. Which he didn't have.
Let's not try to re-write history here. KLD, Donald and Sartori deliberately and calculated lied to the supporters. Since then, all that's changed is that they've re-arranged the share proportions amongst themselves. Same band, playing different instruments.
Thats true mate but he either signs a contract or we will trigger the clause to keep him here for the next 18 mths.He will have to continue on his existing contract and also have to play well to get any interest at the end.So as i see it at this minute we are in a strong position but must have it sorted early in Jan windowIf only it was that simple. He may not sign and not move. He can run contract down currently safe in knowledge we can't bench him as vital to us. He'll only go on his and his agents terms imo.
We didn't do it for players with 18 months left on their deal and less than 2 months experience at the level below. Can see someone from above taking a punt buy not throwing the kitchen sink at a deal.Which in turn is a rehash of another older article. Tells us nothing new whatsoever.

The above is from the FCA website. What you are talking about is a majority shareholder, KLD said he was the controlling shareholder, so he didn't lie. Say sorry to KLD please.
The summer will be a different kettle of fish. We may trigger clause but then we'll know its likely the last point we'll have to get a decent fee. The less a player has left on their deal theore power they have. Has been same since bosman. His agent also knows we've no one else which is likely why he's playing hardball.Thats true mate but he either signs a contract or we will trigger the clause to keep him here for the next 18 mths.He will have to continue on his existing contract and also have to play well to get any interest at the end.So as i see it at this minute we are in a strong position but must have it sorted early in Jan window
1 year contract left in summer and can talk to clubs January 2024. Ppl on here wont accept thatThe summer will be a different kettle of fish. Sunderland Echo leading the way with innovative journalism once again that they never get from this site or other outlets. Real leaders! You must be logged on to see external links
Spot on marra. If he does go in this window it will be on the clubs terms and should be for decent fee. The transfer fee we get only really diminishes once he’s into that last year and can freely speak to other clubs.Thats true mate but he either signs a contract or we will trigger the clause to keep him here for the next 18 mths.He will have to continue on his existing contract and also have to play well to get any interest at the end.So as i see it at this minute we are in a strong position but must have it sorted early in Jan window

To ba fair your earlier posts didn't take that into account.1 year contract left in summer and can talk to clubs January 2024. Ppl on here wont accept that
They have basically cobbled together a rumour from elsewhere with 2 old interviews. Maybe they no longer employ actual journalists these days?Sunderland Echo leading the way with innovative journalism once again that they never get from this site or other outlets. Real leaders!![]()
What does that even mean ? If there’s a chance he’ll be sold I’d imagine other striker targets have already been identified.Have you ever seen a pile of bank notes play up front?

I thought the wage budget was maxed out?He won't be sold till his replacement's already here, if you see what I mean.
The last striker we signed on a permanent basis was Stewart coming up to 2 years ago. I hope we sign someone but we need 2 or 3 anyway. Lots of pressure to get quality and numbers. What does that even mean ? If there’s a chance he’ll be sold I’d imagine other striker targets have already been identified.
i like your styleI’m clearly in a minority of 1, but I think he will stay.
Based on absolutely nothing
