You are complicit when you ignore it at the match and cheer on bin Salman's boys, you gormless spaff flannel.I don't ignore it and I'm not complicit, so there's no need for upset
Plays a wicked game...Rather sign his fatha Chris.

Money is obviously part of it, never claimed it wasn't. Having every penny that comes in bring spent on improving the club is what every fan wants. It's fair to say this isn't your Chelsea/Man City instant cash bonanza and instead is a much needed, from the ground up slow rebuild. That's because Ashley let everything off the pitch slide, while doing the bare minimum regarding the situation on it.
Regarding a Sunderland takeover, were it sanctioned by the powers that be, I think I'd give as much of a fuck as I did about the Chelsea and City takeovers. As in, not a flying one. Gazprom money has been flowing into Champion's League clubs through sponsorship for years anyway. It wouldn't be an outrage to me if it was diverted to one club instead.
Also, I'm not here on the wind up. I'd not even bother engaging with posts like yours and discussing these things if I was
How much would he cost like?Spending that kind of £ they'd be better off getting Toney back.

That would involve admitting Rafa fucked up letting him go. Not going to happen.Spending that kind of £ they'd be better off getting Toney back.
I am a Mag. I am against MBS owning the club and, despite what the Govt and EPL have decided to believe, he does own us.I didn't campaign or protest against Ashley either, but I did want shot of him. Some are against the Saudi ownership, but it's far fewer than were against Ashley.
Why do you think that is?
For me it boils down to the way they run the club. It's early days but we seem to have ambition, structure, the will to be a better club. All of that was lacking in the Ashley years. He was happy to see us scrape 17th and be a glorified Sports Direct advertising billboard
Well his name stuck in my head as someone who I thought looked a quality player. Dunno what his record is like.A grand total of zero goals in the tournament. A real threat.
They were probably married off to Bin-Salman not long after.

His acceptance by those who are happy is purely down to money. Our owner demonstrates no other redeeming quality than a bottomless wallet.
I actually thought, in the main, that Ashley was not as bad as many others did. He made mistakes, some of them howlers, but we were financially sound. Looking at other clubs then surely the long term security of the club is more important than signing more players than we were, although we did spend a fair bit just not particularly well.
Do you think those who are happy with the new regime, having gotten rid of Ashley, will still be happy if we are a stable mid-table team in 5 years. No relegation flirtations, no trophies (highly likely in my opinion), giving the Cups a real go but not signing 'superstars'?
I doubt it.
That they’re the Pride of the Land! What in particular do you all think we don’t understand?
Kilkenny on one side, Scotland on the other, here! After finding out on Ancestry.com that my ancestors came down here from near Glasgow I would just like to thank them for keep going once they crossed the Tyne. There is a god after all.
Yep. Pioneers in horse boxing and having brutal, extremist murderers running their football club. That they’re the Pride of the Land!
I admire your honesty, I find I refreshing that you haven’t been brainwashed not like some of your ilk on hereI am a Mag. I am against MBS owning the club and, despite what the Govt and EPL have decided to believe, he does own us.
