I think the mags will need to spend another £40m on a right foot for Sven Botman. I never seen such a one footed player.

It’s horrific. As a Labour member, I can’t bide it. Even ignoring the Saudi involvement, she’s basically endorsing the increased involvement of the Tory donating Reubens brothers and the expansion of their property portfolio in the city (HMRC contract heading into Newcastle city centre in one of their new properties). ‘Dodgy contracts’ is what they’d call this if it was anywhere else.

Why are we not surprised by the moveable feast that is mag morality, so if Jonson was Brazilian it would be fine to be sexually involved with a 15 year old. Sexual involvement with a young girl by a more mature older man is either right or wrong. They then begged a man that desires 11 year olds to buy them. A prepubescent girl had to be moved to England to save her from his clutches. The Newcastle fan base has repeatedly showed its absolute horror at a overly horny young man grooming a young lady. They set the standard of morality that others should be measured by. Apparently to our shame Sunderland fans fell short when being judged by those of an apparent higher moral standard. Surely but surely the morals standards can not be a moveable feast. The consequences of that could be seen as faux outrage and a convenient stick to beat rivals with. Ironically they use a similar argument as deflection from sports washing accusations, apparently we are only disgusted at their begging to taken over by paedophilic despots because we are salty makems full of faux outrage.

The thing that really hurts is elected officials in our region actively & very publicly campaigned for Her Majesty’s Government to make a positive decision in favour of the takeover knowing this form of behavior was at the heart of the project’s organization.

Now the “project” has started rolling and there is no sign of investment in the region (I won’t bite on the low carbon fuel project as that was already in the pipeline), but the underpinning organization is going about its merry business back home (despite this being a great opportunity to influence their behaviors, that was the quid pro quo wasn’t it?), there is a deafening silence from those same elected officials.

I have good mates who are mags, and it’s desperate to hear them searching for a rationale argument to what is right in front of them. It’s not funny, just desperate.
