Well said captainTend not to watch the Mags when they're on TV as a rule but watched yesterday as I expected them to get battered. Was one of those games you couldn't take your eyes off and tbf to them it looks like they've got something going. The stadium was all noise and colour and made for a good backdrop to a very high quality game. Lets face it they aren't going down so we need to make sure we go up so we can get ourselves involved again.
Definitely notNot quite as good as 6.
You can bet your bottom dollar as well that if the Saudis had of bought this club Caulkin, Hope, Wilson, Downie etc would be saying how much of a disgrace it is.@kingkeane he had a problem with morally bankrupt people being involved in foot all when it was di canio
Pickfords better with his feet and he’s never let Southgate down. He’ll never get dropped until he starts dropping clangers in an England shirt.I rate Pope very highly. I rate Pickford very highly.
Pickford hasn’t done anything to warrant being dropped by England and seems to raise his game when needed. I hope playing behind a shocking Everton team doesn’t wreck his confidence this season.
The furore around Di Canio tells you exactly that. They would all have a completely different view if the Saudis or similar bought Sunderland imo.
Be better if you done Fenwicks. Might get in the chronicle. If that wasn't pre organised I'll show my arse in Binns's window
The scum go to 3-1 Choppers 2 move up a gear and a few minuets later it's 3-3 then back down a gear and their murderous owners are all happy
Sheep's eyeballs all round
FTM!!!
I agree Pickford is personally playing ok for Everton, but in a team that’s constantly losing or in ramsdale s case a team potentially finishing 3rd or even pope in I hate to say i, a team on the upDifference is, we potentially have better players than Maguire and rashford to pick from. And also, they are in terrible club form, where Pickford isn't. Despite Everton being shite
I bet theres more to it. It will come out one day.Don’t think it’s that sinister. They just don’t like being pulled up on their rank hypocrisy. Most of the national writers are Mags, they’re happy they’re doing better so not arsed.
But the investment is independent of the takeover and would have taken place with it or without PIF. I have done some work with SABIC before and keep an eye on them in case it starts up again.
OP questioned whether Saudi invested in the region since the takeover, not whether the investment was a direct result of the takeover. Is that linked to the takeover? You'd have thought if it was Amanda would have been using it to highlight what a good thing the takeover was and how good the the saudis are
I can tell you right here right now
Saudi money will not benefit me or the North East region
It'll only benefit Newcastle United football club

Everton opened a club shop in a mall in Liverpool, they called it Everton Two so that the address read:You must be logged on to see external links
Canny funny name though
Yes I see your point, but a team at the bottom for 2 seasons losing most weeks isn’t going to fill you with confidenceSo if spurs were in poor form, but Leeds were doing well, you'd drop Kane for Bamford at the world cup ?
Hypothetically speaking of course
It's nonsense, you pick the best players available to you to suit the formation that you think gives the squad best chance of success. If Pickford is the best keeper in the squad, then he starts. Simple as that.

Name names. The “message” from a collective number of journalists is too consistent and orchestrated. Definitely someone pulling the strings.
He didn't say he knew who mine tbf.Name names. That’s some accusation.
I think the point is when all of those idiots saw Riyals in their eyes and were doing mental gymnastics to make the takeover happen they coined the phrase “investment in the region”. Embarrassingly even MP’s latched on to it. Meanwhile we were all saying it why do the need to own NUFC for Jamie Rueben or PIF to invest in the region? I said all along the purchase wouldn’t happen until Saudi settled it’s differences with Qatar. I also said that would be likely with an Asian games and World Cup on their doorstep which Saudi qualified for. I was proven right.OP questioned whether Saudi invested in the region since the takeover, not whether the investment was a direct result of the takeover.
The answer to that, as Jlaws has said, is more than likely not.
Okay... Many things in life will not benefit me personally or the North East of England. Conversely, it's very unlikely to negatively impact you. I really don't understand the point you're making.
It will all come out in the wash.Name names. That’s some accusation.
There is definitely some form of coordination it would appear. Whether the journalists are explicitly on the pay roll or are just complicit. I read recently how many PR companies are employed in image washing and the sums are phenomenal. Also they have interests in our media recently buying the evening standard and maybe the I newspapers. There is an updated version of this somewhereThe “message” from a collective number of journalists is too consistent and orchestrated. Definitely someone pulling the strings.

It’s what they do. Look at how the robber barons of the Mont Perrin society spread there sphere of influence. The use of outrider journalists gave neo liberalism traction as journalists either on the pay roll or just complicity spread the message. Then the barrons bought up the media outlets.
The Saudis aim to do the same but with their image and sphere of influence, using PR companies and buying up media companies. Also Saudi media group bid nearly billion for Chelsea I think.
