I hope he wins too. Him vs fury would be brilliant.

I don't think he will though
If AJ loses but puts up a great fight, maybe knocks Usyk down, loses a very tight decision then I'd be interested in AJ v Fury still, as would the public imo.

It does massive numbers regardless imo. Obviously wouldn’t be the mega fight we all hoped for but it would still be big

I still can’t believe this is in Saudi, particularly with Saudi/Yemen and Russia/Ukraine. I don’t buy that Usyk couldn’t say no

I’m conflicted. I’d love to see fury v Joshua so a win for aj works. He is a Brit and do try to back the lads ( struggled with bellew like)

However I’m convinced if AJ even thinks of being aggressive this ends early for usyk so sticking some cash on. Big left hook counter then a barrage on the ropes.

Personally I think the only way AJ can win this is via the Chisora playbook - Lean on him to death, turn it into a street fight rather than a boxing fight, make it ugly and boring and take a playbook from Klitchsko with the jab and grab. AJ needs to be making this as ugly and boring to watch as possible, but who the fuck cares about how he wins aslong he gets the W.

All other situations Usyk wins for me.

It's currently 8/1 for AJ to get a stoppage in any round which shows the unlikelihood of it happening.

I've got £50 on Usyk gassing him out and taking him out between rounds 10-12 at 7/1

Rds 1/3 and saver rd 4..

20/1 and 40/1. Pile on 😉😎

I’ll be delighted for the people on Twitter/Facebook who have their tounges so far up fury’s hoop they’d rather a fella from Ukraine (a very likeable one like) beats one of our own. 99.9% of the time I back our fighters and I’m the same with fury but I’d never want one to get beat just because he rivals another Brit. You’ll not find a soul in Ukraine wanting Usyk to get beat. Haway AJ!
Usyks one of my favourite fighters like. While I generally want the UK fighters to win some of my favourite fighters over the years have been overseas fighters so have wanted them to beat brits before. I'll be wanting a Usyk win again.

This. Depends on the manner of loss, if he losses. If say he's losing going in to the last third of the fight and puts it all on the line going for broke, it would still have a lot of interest. If it's a tame performance where Usyk dictates pace and just twats him whilst dancing around him, people won't care as much.

Also fair play to Wilder, Helenius probably his second best win, if he sparks him

Usyk is just brilliant like in and out the ring he’s exactly the kind of class that a champion should be !

Add in his crazy eyes, decent sense of humour he’s class like ! Loved his crack with Bellew and Chisora before those fights

Be very surprised to see him get beat Saturday

Won't be actually possible because of Boxing politics. AJ loses and the matchup is no longer physically possible.

WBA mandatory is up next which at the moment is Helenius but could end up being Wilder.
IBF will probably enforce another between the winner of Hrogic v Zhang and Joyce v Parker with the winners of those 2 fighting for mandatory for IBF.

Unification always takes priority over mandatories so we're going to either see Usyk v Wilder or Usyk v Fury.
WBC could even enforce a Fury v Wilder 4 if Wilder beats Helenius.

It just shows how far down the bottom AJ goes if he loses.
AJ's highest ranked win is Pulev who lost to unranked Chisora, so imagine where AJ goes if he loses... No boxing federation will even allow an unranked fight a #1.

It's all the way down to obscurity for AJ and it's upto him whether he wants to work his way back up or not.

Fury could vacate to take the Joshua fight. Would still be the biggest money fight even with no titles on the line.
