Latest boxing crack

Not a great deal of depth in the division if Del Boy's the best they can come up with....even with the couple of fights that are already made.
The HW division has been terrible for ages really. Some how the decent fighters in It have avoided fighting each other thus far, but it’s getting to the point where they are thinking about their legacies, Usyk stepping up has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons too. Fury wants to be an all time great, thus far in 20 years his legacy will be beating a ‘finished’ Klit, it’s just not enough. You can only beat what is in front of you, but he hasn’t done that yet, the two biggest challengers are yet to be given a shot

Wilder would KO Joshua as soon as he hit him. He’s beat the third best in the division, but yes Usyk would arguably be his biggest test. Klitschko wasn’t over the hill when Fury beat him either.

Wilder would send Joshua back into modelling looking in the mirror at himself about how gorgeous he is for his next photoshoot with BooHoo.

Hearn did everything for AJ to avoid Wilder, and he tried every trick in the book for him to avoid Usyk, cos he knows it himself AJ isn't a proper killer. The sort of bloke who puts Snapchat filters on and goes on Google for motivation quotes.

Top 2? He's not even top 3!
I just don't get it when people still think AJ is good. His highest ranked win is Kubrat f***ing Pulev who lost to Chisora only a few weeks ago. To put AJ's name alongside Fury, Wilder or Usky is borderline madness like.

Living off the Klitschko win. Yet apparently it was Fury who beat the washed up Klitschko

Wilders resume is nowhere near as good as AJ's tbf....debatable whether Fury's is as well.

That not true though. Wilder admitted that he ducked Joshua and took less money to fight Fury.

Joshua v Wilder would be a great fight, either could spark the other. I think Joshua would have dismantled him before Ruiz 1 but he's looked mentally shit since then so it's full on toss up now.

Wilder can punch but he is a terrible boxer. If he gets pushed backwards he is pretty much useless, can't get any leverage on his punches, can't fight on the inside, can't hold, can't defend. Boxers and these are basically b level fighters who he fought for years, were scared of his power and gave him way too much room. As soon as Fury closed that gap Wilder was exposed for the c level fighter he is.

Wilder would flatten Joshua 100%. If he manages to catch and drop fury as many times as he did he’d catch Joshua no bother

Depends if Joshua knocks him out first don't it. The longer it goes I'd favour Wilder because he'll eventually land one against Joshua whose defence isn't great himself but if Joshua goes in looking to get him out early I think he probably does.

Some truths to this. Wilder's main problem is that he's surrounded by complete yes men, Jay Deas isn't a coach, he's a Boxercise coach, and he's never been taught the jab, which is by far the best punch in any striking combat sport. He had the very respectable Mark Breland in but the book always stopped with Jay Deas.

Wilder does have heart however, he got smashed for 3 fights straight and still came forward and scored knockdowns, Joshua would of gotten his mirror out to see his looks have been damaged, that's the difference between the 2.

Unless he gets kept on the back of a jab and wiped out himself before he got the chance. How many rounds did it take him to get to Fury in the first fight? Second fight an ankle injury was a big part of one of them. Like Chatty says it's an interesting fight. Look at how bad old man Ortiz managed to make Wilder look at times. Obviously the power is always a potential lights out moment, but it's a good match on paper

The same AJ that got up from a heavy knockdown against Klitschko and stopped him? I'm not a big fan of AJ but this shite about him being a big poser and Fury being a git typical hard bloke is daft. Fury takes selfies with daft filters on all the time, loves furthering brand Fury etc. He's probably worse for it at this point - most of his early resentment for this side of Joshua was just because it wasn't himself getting the recognition he deserved

All four of the top four at the moment have very good heart. It's the one thing I don't think can really be debated about any of them.

That's just making my point really. He nearly got stopped by someone who's nearly as old as Shannon Briggs. Beating up an old man isn't a claim to fame.

It doesn't at all really. You've just countered with a totally seperate argument that by extension discredits one of the best parts of Fury's resume.

I agree Wilder has way more heart than Joshua, if Joshua gets hurt first he's probably done but I do think he could spark Wilder (and vice versa) and he's the better boxer, sets his punches up better, has a better jab, has a better range of punches. He isn't as powerful but he punches hard enough to get the job done and I'm not sure Wilder will be the same after the last two fights, he took two massive beatings and at his age with his style I think it'll take its toll.
