It is an excellent point.

The Fun88 sponsorship ends at the end of this season and a Saudi company will no doubt have already been told they are sponsoring them next season and it will be a much bigger price than the current one.

But other than that how do you grow commercial revenue in a recession in an economically deprived area with few large company HQ's in the region?
At least they won’t have trouble looking for a new one

MBS will tell a KSA company they’ll be sponsoring them, how much they’ll pay and if they don’t…. 🗡 👦🏽🩸

f***ing savages.🩸
The perfect fit for the Mags. They have their club back
Simon Bird saying in an article in the Mirror today (sorry if it's already been posted)

"Newcastle mean business and the game should welcome that."

The skunk wanker.
The hacks who bury their heads up the camels arses should hang their heads in shame. Their need to be part of the jawdee wankfest to garner Orc appreciation is sickening.
Fellow journalists sticking together 🙄

Any new sponsorship deal can’t be artificially inflated anyway so I’d love to know how they think they’re going to be rolling in money next summer when the Fun88 deal is up.

Pif are clearly not skint. But nufc is just one of an investment portfolio.

They clearly aren't being held in as a high regard as the rest of the portfolio such as the golf.
Thing is, with the golf, there has been many dissenting voices from both within the game and the media. Therefore, they are throwing more and more money at it - attracting more "wholesome" players, til that goes away a bit.
There has been next to none of that with buying Newcastle, in fact, they have seemingly thousands of ready made "flies" (including Newcastle-supporting journalists) willing to defend the Kingdom, not just their own club against literally anything they've done or are doing. Do they really need to plough increasing huge amounts at it whilst their work is being done for fuck all?

Yeah, but waraboot that fan that told a woman to stay in the kitchen?

Both bad. But it's not like one detracts from the other, is it?

I'm surprised at the push back I'm getting for it but I suppose I shouldn't be. I doubt if a Sunderland fan posted it they'd get any dissenting voices. Some of you just can't look past the club I support

.. Another gravy stainer for the ignore list .. Wonder how many time I have done that for this one ..

The club moved banks from Barclays to HSBC. There is no loan, it's an overdraft facility of an increased amount from the £50 million previously held with Barclays and was arranged on more favourable terms. The facility is secured on Matchday income and TV Revenue, as was the Barclays one. The overdraft is there to be used for day to day cash if required and may never actually be used.

"Richest club in the world can't fund day-to day cash without £140 Million overdraft facility which isn't like a loan and probably won't even be used."

IF, it was posted ln a different thread to highlight what silly sods are still kicking about (particularly after the other Sunday) then fair enough. The fact it was posted on a thread entitled "sportswashing" and about the stone-age atrocities being commited on a daily basis make it, at best glib, at worst pretty f***ing poor taste.

Of course, you knew all of that though.
