That's the point. So we clearly are prepared to pay the wages would u agree?
It was out of desperation to stay up. You were bottom of the league and relegation looked certain - he was the best you could get at the time and had to pay way above market rate.

But now they are struggling to get signings over the line.

Seems the mags are signing Martin Braithwaite. Apparently he’s told Barcelona to terminate his contract so he can leave for free and join a club in Saudi Arabia

So the Saudis paid Bein 1bn in lost income but won't spend big on the team. Ok that makes sense. By god yous do live in hope I'll give yous that
You really are a thicko aren't you?

Just trying to work out which thicko you are, it's not your first time stinking the board out so I'm guessing you've been banned before

Here's one for the unwashed.

If its just a matter of time until your Ashley sponsorship deals expire and you land huge Saudi sponsors. Why take out a loan?

Ffp is over a rolling 3 season period. So you could have spent PIFs money this season without a HSBC loan as it wouldnt impact ffp once your huge Saudi sponsors come on board.

Mike Ashley sold the club to the Saudis yet he's a saint according to this place
No-one ever called him that. We merely said he ran your club in profit, allowing it to be sold to the Saudis for a good fee. It was your fans who claim to have "suffered". We pointed to the likes of Bury, Bolton and Oldham. You asked Brighton fans to sign a petition when you played them man - Brighton who languished in the bottom tier and didn't have a ground for years due to awful ownership.
Look at yourselves and have a little self-awareness before posting such shite.

You now have your club back from that monster anyway. In reality, its never been further away and its a shame such a proud, working class, well supported, big club is being used for this but, its what most of you wanted/demanded. Own it.

Brighton away for them next.

I’d guess that their blue and white stripes will be deemed to clash with the mags black and white, and the mags away kit is blue as well.

So will this be where the Saudi green and white third kit makes it’s debut, in Brighton of all places?

If so, hopefully the media will pick up on this.

Surely white will also clash?

A backwards attitude to women's rights from somewhere a little closer to home

What, Bristol? So, someone in the South West has made a comment during a game against us and you're using that in a thread where reversing a lorry load of rubble onto rape vicrims is mentioned? Aye, great stuff.

It’ll be their dark blue and yellow one they wear.

It is an excellent point.

The Fun88 sponsorship ends at the end of this season and a Saudi company will no doubt have already been told they are sponsoring them next season and it will be a much bigger price than the current one.

But other than that how do you grow commercial revenue in a recession in an economically deprived area with few large company HQ's in the region?

The club moved banks from Barclays to HSBC. There is no loan, it's an overdraft facility of an increased amount from the £50 million previously held with Barclays and was arranged on more favourable terms. The facility is secured on Matchday income and TV Revenue, as was the Barclays one. The overdraft is there to be used for day to day cash if required and may never actually be used.
