Could one of resident terrorist supporting Mag posters enlighten me as to why Jernjer was deported from SA during NUFCs warm weather bonding trip over there? Genuinely missed this.....

No work to do on mags they already think they are great ! The Saudi moral compass is non existent so they aren’t going to change certainly not for the benefit of the consciences of the citizens of Newcastle. The PIF invest in projects for one of two reasons; either on the traditional investment model (spend £ to make ££), or to improve their standing on a global scale.
NUFC is clearly the latter. Some call it sportswashing. Others call it PR. Similar I guess to Leicester and Cardiff.
In this case they have some work to do to have everyone believe they are nice guys with a similar moral compass to the average bloke on the street.
AC Milan were desperate to sign Botman (they enquired) desperate is pushing it, but then decided to sign Tanganga from Spurs. Is this from Louise Taylor's (truly appalling, near-unreadable)You must be logged on to see external linksof their season? It's a joke, though her writing is so uniquely atrocious that I can understand the bafflement.

Mate, for your own sanity stop posting shite on here, you are seriously harming your deluded mind, just give it a rest, you cannot defend the indefencible, what has happened to your club is a disgrace, just own up, put your hands up and concede the owners are twats and have took you lot for the mugs you really are.Ok. So why did they buy the club then?
Top 4..... Don't be so f***ing stupid. Top 6 would be a huge achievement.@Biffo The Bear thoughts?
I did not, anywhere, state there were more or less. My issue is when it is stated "all".But not as many as the over 100K petition signers which not 1 of you stinkers will admit to signing
FTM!!!
All probably true sir. I do not know what % of Season Ticket holders renewed. Would be interesting to see that data. There was always going to be someone ready to take a seat from a non-renewing objector. But many more are apparently going than not going? Season ticket sales and matchday sales going well. Ao that suggests to me that there are either more people who don't care/turn a blind eye or actively support the takeover than object to it and aren't going.
So based on matchday attendance it would seem like there aren't any serious efforts by people to object to the takeover
There's very little social media outcry
There's no media outcry much
Yet when bad man Ashley was in charge..... lots of protests. Lots of opposition to him. Shops being shouted at, MPs questioning his suitability to run a football club. Mental health claims.
None of that, so it would seem to me the majority of your fans are quite happy with the takeover.... some are vocally supportive of the Saudi regime owning the club... and the minority are angry but don't actually want to make their voices heard

So, in fact, it isn't.....
It's not the 90's any more and one of their gripes, commercial income is something I don't think they'll even increase to the levels the big 6 enjoy. Despite the moaning about Ashley and Spurs leaving them behind, they're already up there with West Ham, Everton and Leicester so actually doing OK in relation to the best of the rest. They thought that when this went through. The likes of mbappe etc would be coming through the door
It was never happening. Now they have bought Burnley players and struck lucky from a lad brought in from France, who nobody really had heard of
They now cheer joelinton who was bought under the Ashley era when nothing was spent apparently
They also thought that the country would all buy into this and they would become the entertainers again
Now this richest club in the world are taking loans out, bit strange
The expected attention is not arriving but plenty of condemnation is
They are in a no win situation and are clueless as to what to say
It’s going to be fun
Thanks for this bit of research and hard workIt's not the 90's any more and I don't think they'll even increase that much on the commercial side as they're already up there with West Ham, Everton and Leicester. One reason is because back in the 90's most of the TV stuff was UK based with Sky Sports etc so the majority of the viewing audience were UK based. Now the Premier League is a global brand and the UK isn't as much an 'advert' for sponsors etc for some teams as not all matches are live. These days globally, people can usually watch any match they want as it's not restricted like the UK and that's possibly why the Global TV Rights are worth more than the Domestic TV Rights also.
The broadcasters will know which teams pull in the most viewers etc so it's very unlikely Newcastle will be able to ever viewing figures that the big 6 will get. This will obviously affect their sponsorship and all other deals related to their 'global brand' image. They may be able to fiddle some deals using SA businesses but they're being monitored now. Some mag fans may think they're a huge club but they're huge in relation to their crowd and local area. Outside that bubble they're just another mid table team that's won nowt for years and had a sniff of success in the 90's thanks to the initial growth of the Premier League.
The Mags will certainly improve on the pitch along with an increase in finances. Problem is, they're £100's millions per year in revenue behind the financial big boys. I don't think it's not going to happen for them in the way many think due to the limits of their revenue. It certainly won't be another Chelsea or Man City and given the global market it probably won't ever be.
Leicester are the nearest team to even get a sniff of playing with the financial big boys as they won the league and a Cup but it's simply unsustainable unless they hit the Champions League regularly. As I expected, Leicester are pushing their financial limits now and chances are it's going to go downhill for them from now as they're not even in Europe this season so no extra revenue from that. They can't really invest much more so may well sell good players as they've done in recent seasons but it's now catching up with them financially. Everton have done the same and they got even less in return for their investment apart from a 1 season in the Europa League and going out in the group stage.
Kieran Maguire did a FPP last November and the Mags have plenty wiggle room. Though 5 of the big 6 still have even more room plus that is room as in extra money they can spend on top of the £10's millions they've already spent on huge signings and wages.

FPP is a £105m loss over 3 seasons is only £35m a season so it's not even 1 Madison signing fee and there is also the wages. The Mags aren't paying up front so they could get three £35m players this season paying £11.33m for each every season but then can't spend more over the next 3 seasons unless they increase revenue. Even with the fiddling of sponsor deals they won't increase £10's millions to be able to get even more players and certainly not £100's millions. To get in with the big boys would take many years of playing regular Champions League. They're miles behind other clubs and even Leicester's revenue will drop this season due to not being in Europe any more.

I don't know how much the Mags have spent so far given the initial payments won't be the same as the total fee and the additional clauses but they've spent summit like £150-160m which will be owed over the coming seasons so that's their wiggle room above. They will have also increased the yearly wages by a few million a year also and their will be those clauses. There's good reason why the Mag owners are doing it the way they are as it's a better way than going lashing £50m up front for Maddison etc. It gives them three seasons of spending rather than blowing it all in one. If it goes wrong and they get neewhere regarding the Champions League money then the club should still be financially sound rather than being spent up and then having nowt to reinvest and having to sell players they'd prefer to keep. Of course, there's no denying most SAFC fans would love the same investment, no matter in which way but it's amusing that it's not going to be the way some mags thought and even more so due to the background of the 'true' owners of the club.
