What is the moral compass of the club and its fans given they’ve welcomed this takeover, begged for it and refuse to be drawn on the repugnant nature of the owners akin to the mercenary golfers ? Your club is no different to those golfers who sold out to blood money and simply choose to ignore any valid questions
I corrected the statement to read "some fans". I do not support the owners, nor the morons posting their supporting bile. I know there are others who share my opinion thus "some fans".

How vocal are these ‘moral’ fans ? Have they protested like the majority of fans did against Ashley ?
Speaking for myself, not very vocal because i will not attend (when home and able to do so).
I did not protest against Ashley either tbh. I would also say, as i was going at the time, that "the majority" did not protest.
There were organised marches, walk-out's, meetings. None, as far as i am aware, were attended by even 10,000 fans let alone close to the majority.
Anyway i digress. All fans are not morally bankrupt, some are.

Is the manager morally bankrupt ? Or like the mercenary golfers is it ok to hide behind the ‘let’s just ignore and turn a blind eye to it’
How have you ‘got your club back’ ? what does that mean if as you say the majority of fans weren’t supportive of the anti Ashley protests

They thought that when this went through. The likes of mbappe etc would be coming through the door

It was never happening. Now they have bought Burnley players and struck lucky from a lad brought in from France, who nobody really had heard of

They now cheer joelinton who was bought under the Ashley era when nothing was spent apparently

They also thought that the country would all buy into this and they would become the entertainers again

Now this richest club in the world are taking loans out, bit strange

The expected attention is not arriving but plenty of condemnation is

They are in a no win situation and are clueless as to what to say

It’s going to be fun

It means that, as is usually the case, the vocal minority make the noise and get the headlines.
We haven't gotten our club back. Either it was never ours in the first place (factually true) or 'we' never lost it as we only had it in our / their minds.
I assume you accept my point that not all fans are without morals?
I agree with a lot of what is said here. Our owner, the one who isn't our owner but we all know he is, is a vile specimen who should be nowhere near Newcastle United. I agree that what they are doing, as they did with boxing, Motor racing and now Golf is to seek acceptance through sport.
What i don't agree with is the often spouted "all Mags begged them to take over", "all Mags support the regime", "all Mags defend them" and other variations of this theme. Many didn't and don't.
I, like others, did not protest against Ashley.
I, like others, did not sign the petition.
I, like others, did not protest for the Saudi takeover.
None of the above makes me morally bankrupt, a supporter of MBS, a defender of the regime nor a Saudi apologist.
I mean Maddison is a good player but in no way is he as good or better than Mount mind.
Whether we sign him, or not, he is a better player than Mount.

I think that's a very honest and fair response. But the problem is that the rational voices either don't speak up or don't get heard.

I had a look at an NUFC forum the other week out of curiosity. I couldn't find a single thread calling out the owners and the Saudi regime.

I've not seen any articles by Newcastle fans, ex players or geordie celebrities calling them out. I'm not on twitter so maybe I'm missing them?

So where are these rational fans? No one is expecting people in the ground to go up to lads in tea towels and provoke an argument... but if there are moral fans out there, why aren't they speaking up online in significant numbers against those vocal minority who are defending the Saudis?

Only one I saw was jake burns - SLF frontman and adopted Mag fan. At the time he was very anti the takeover on twitter. Haven’t checked back since mind

A fair question. I can only assume, based on myself, that some are too lazy to do more than simply stop going.
Perhaps some don't want the undoubted shite that would come their way for doing so.
I am also not on Twitter so cannot comment. This is the only social media i read, or contribute to. I do agree that there must be some high profile supporters and ex players who are against this. Perhaps they too don't want to become a target or perhaps my view is indeed in the minority. Given that the current state of affairs is so visibly wrong, on so many levels, i find it almost incomprehensible that the majority are ok with it.

Mags on twatter are fuwwwming, I gave it 6 months before they woke up to how they have been played but seeing the way they are offering way below the asking price for players like they did under Agent Mike, it is great to see them implode and before the obsessed mags on their rivals forum screen shot our fans comments, post it on twatter and embarrass themselves further, they will understand in the next few months that it is going to get far more worse for them! Also us Mackems and other teams fans told you so, be careful what you wish/protest and cry for so enjoy ;)
