I feel like these went off the boil a bit but I'll still give it a listen

looking forward to seeing what new madness black midi bring, saw them a couple of times over the summer so far and they are awesome

Some really new stuff I'm liking here - don't think any of them even having a proper debut single out yet

Fat Dog - just about every indie label worth their salt is in for them

The Dinner Party. Just signed with Island and supported The Stones recently.

A fair few seem to be off the album mind
Presumably different versions, earlier iterations - description says they're from the same sessions.

On second look, I think that's probably why the Bandcamp version, which is the version I was alerted to and where I read the description, is shorter - that doesn't look to be album stuff

Yep, I think it's the album with extra tracks on streaming services but the eight extra tracks on Bandcamp.

Thought Working mens club was underwhelming on first listen. Definitely not as instantly catchy as debut.
Stephen Mallinder Howe we was really good on 1st in comparison

Will give beabadoobee a listen over the weekend I’m hearing good things. Viagra Boys album is great. Think I mentioned it before but Wu-Lu is also great. Had a few listens of black midi it’s excellent if not a bit too theatrical at times especially on side 2. The race is about to begin is absolutely superb mind.

black midi are probably the strangest band I've heard and they remain a big dilemma for me. I find their music hard going but impressive. Their Glastonbury set was fascinating. Of their 3 albums this new record is probably my favourite but I still can't say wholeheartedly I enjoy them.

I've tried getting into them but they do absolutely nowt for me at all, don't see the fuss. Sure they're gutted of course.
