Haha they are happy with their owners murdering children but heaven forbid their rag calls their unwanted players deadwood  offended by everything other than what they should be offended by!

They are petrified that their owners will get upset. I’ve seen Twitter posts of nufc fans telling their fans not to tag their owners into negative tweets. When that lad pissed on the bob stokoe statue an nufc fan tagged the owners with the video saying we don’t want fans like this, he was rounded on by his own teams fans saying why did you have to tag the owners

Siege mentality as they are shit scared for the first time (as they have lots of form) to even whisper any concern. They begged for this so can’t be seen as ‘worried’ about anything

Yeah they are trying to control what people see, it’s propaganda just like we see in Saudi and Russia!

Understood.

I should have been more clear and I have in the past on this thread.

We obviously expect a bit of piss taking, but if us mods determine that a poster's main intent is to simply wind up SAFC fans then he/she won't last long.

When in Rome etc...

You said this yesterday tbf on the BBC Women's thread.

Just try not to take it too seriously.

It's just words on a screen man.

Does that not apply on this thread?

In a nutshell. They expected to be throwing £M ‘s and getting every top player they went for ?
These owners have little interest in Newcastle as a team and region. If they had bought a London or Italian team it would have been different ! Not much cache in the NE for them in reality other than a bunch of utter clowns liable to embarrass them culturally at the drop of a hat

Getting frustrated already  I thought it had nothing to do with challenging at the top and all about getting their club back? Weren't they prepared to be patient?

Still plenty time left in the window. I'm sure they'll get somebody in. People on Twitter being knackers is no surprise.

The problem is they are thinking big - too big. The only reason why I am vaguely confident of this new club approach of not spending huge amounts (Not on absolutely huge name talent. Though I do fully expect and hope the club is able to set it’s sights a bit higher than we had to be the last few years. I don’t want George Jones from Dorking United), is so many have become better for a more modest approach to signings. Moreno from Man City a good example.

Look at QPR a few years ago. Spending vast amounts like we did in the late 90s on players like Fredgaard and Mercimek. Now look at them. Look at them when compared to what Brentford are doing now. Focussing on decent prices (Not cheap but not astronomical) for untapped quality and keeping squad unity and togetherness. A team spirit.

Even Man United did it in the early 90s. Players like Scholes, Butt and Solskjaer were kids. But through togetherness and a team spirit won loads of silverware.

But the mags are going hell for leather trying to be the next Real Madrid or PSG way before their time. Only 5 minutes into the job and they wanted their owner to be splashing £40m on some German international defender from Bayern Munich. You don’t build clubs that way.

Morons the lot of them.

I agree wholeheartedly with the last sentence
