What is horseshit ? They are carrying out atrocities now and it means fuck all to Mags. What would they have to do for Mags to say enough ? You seem to be suggesting that your supporters have a moral threshold. I say that is bullshit
Two questions;
What would Newcastle fans need to do to stop the atrocities in Saudi Arabia?
What could Newcastle fans do to get a change of ownership?

I caveat that with this; Nothing we did ousted Ashley and he was just a Dickensian villain, these new owners are full-tilt Bond villains who're in bed with the British Government, and the PL.

The Mags would love that
It's probably right now though isn't it? This thread has now become ridiculous. Used to come on win, lose or draw and talk about the players, manager or whatever, and it was always decent.

The debate about our ownership (and football ethics and morals in general) is both interesting and worthy. But it's not debate on here, its insults and the same round and round discussions.

People being called terrorist sympathisers, paedophile lovers etc etc by strangers on a message board. Like it's stifled the actual important discussion and its just total nonsense. These are people that have kids, families etc. I thought most people grew out of just hating all things NUFC/SAFC at some point.

Question 1 - The fans can‘t stop the many atrocities being carried out by the Saudis. What they could do thought, is stop defending them or resorting to Whataboutery on social media. The Saudis probably cannot believe how many people they now have who jump to their defence when one of their crimes is mentioned.

Question 2 - If they protested half as much as they did when the evil Ashley was in charge, together with the stopping of their defence of all thing Saudi, then they would be more likely to move on. Unfortunately the fans have made it perfectly clear that they idolise the Saudis and are willing to act as unpaid Saudi bots, so this will never happen.

The fans virtually begged for the Saudis to take over and made fools of themselves when it happened. Because of this they are now despised by many fans of other clubs. Newcastle’s association with this heinous regime, who’s next atrocity will be just around the corner, will taint the image of the club long after they have moved on.

@Mr B This is it in a nutshell:

These lot , and others appear to have attended the Bug Market School for Middle Eastern Politics. It is bizarre!

To be fair, they is a good reason for that and you know it. If other fans cheered on Jimmy Saville and Gary Glitter by running around with big cigars and singing ‘Do you want to be in my gang’, do you think Newcastle fans would just ignore them and talk about something else?

I absolutely agree that nobody should be defending the Saudis. Honestly? There's not enough of a disconnect for some fans between legitimate criticism of the Saudis, and an attack on their club. Which, like you say is ambrosia for sportswashers.

You make some leap between not constantly criticising something, and idolising something, though.

Yet here you are attempting to water down this thread with dull monologues which lead nowhere

You claim to dislike Saudi policy but love your club when the two things are now inextricably linked

Protest against the ownership by getting a 100,000 signature petition and submit it to parliament. Organise demonstrations like the German fans and say ‘not in our name’
Go to the offices of the PL and say we aren’t happy with our club being owned by this barbarous regime. Stand up publicly and tell Queen Mandy that this isn’t right.
Shouting at shops and exposing Ashley’s work ethic in parliament was deemed appropriate. Why is a public outcry against these western hating murderers not an option ?

I can't see any reason for calling someone you don't know a paedophile or a terrorist sympathiser if I'm honest. I'm aware others do (clearly) but as I say, in my opinion it takes the debate away, shuts it down immediately.

Like of a fan of another club came on I think they would just cringe at the back and forth and name calling etc.

I haven't bullshitted anyone with any of that. What people on social media say doesn't bother me, but like I say IMO it's then not debate any more. I just think adults calling people they don't know a terrorist sympathiser or as an NUFC fan coming on and winding you all up doesn't really make anyone look good, and just means there's no actual conversation, which this thread used to have.
