Why would the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invest in the north east of England? They're hoying billions at infrastructure in America for which it is said there is minumal benefit. What are they going to do when the oil runs-out - sell the Meadow Well estate?

Your club is a sportswashing project, there will be very little noney to be made for them in the north east of England. They aren't and never will be an altruistic set-up.

Had this been any other club or Sunderland themselves there would be little to nothing said about it on here.

As a fanbase we Newcastle fans should not defend the actions of the saudi government or MBS (which 99% don't anyway) while supporting our club, we as fans can do little else.

The simple fact is though you lot never cared about what goes on in Saudi before but you do now, simply because your rivals could be playing European football in a few years and are going to leave you even further in the dust than we already have, it's faux outrage to justify the fume.

Yes they are appalling people but they’ve got our club at their heart because it’s their asset, so that’s ok

Neither Man City nor PSG have owners directly responsible for the level of atrocities that you do, even if they did - your deflection by "whataboutery" is very much a key facet of sportswashing whether it suits your agenda or not. Making the Saudi state and it's leaders seem more acceptable by favourable/parity comparison just shows how gullible and partisan to their activities you are.
