I shudder to think what a League One side would look like in the Championship. How it would perform. How it would do. I don’t want us to be the experimental lab rat that’s going to find out the hard way what an unchanged League One team would do in a higher league.

A side that barely managed to get you in the Championship is now being asked to keep you in the Championship? Think about it. Good luck with that!

An unchanged League One team will barely get two wins together. That is how different League One is compared to the Championship.

Still think we short of 4/5 genuine quaility players. We have alot of players who havent played at this level before. Players like gooch winchester onien might struggle i think. Championship is unforgiving we need more quaility

Patience is required here for a period of consolidation. The squad needs to evolve rather than us trying to buy a new one. Not that there would be the money to do that. Top half in our first Championship season would represent very good progress.

While I agree with your sentiment about building longer term, if we were to be promoted using 5 prem loans rather than 3, then “that’s” the “sustainable” model

Embletons stats are very good, I think if we were signing him from MK Dons or somewhere we’d be reasonably optimistic he’d do well. I think he’s definitely got a role to play and could even finish up being selected ahead of Pritchard.

About right, in an ideal world a top notch CM and just possibly a RB but that’s a lot to integrate and a few that probably deserve a crack would have to go.

We've got some good attackers which will paper over alot of cracks.

But a quality midfield pairing will take us to a lot higher level. Same with full backs.
