At a meeting an hours drive away 2.30-3.30 so I'm going to likely miss most/if not all of qualy (4pm start) on Friday.

Yeah I know, just sod's law that he's been on the wrong end of the luck on a couple of notable occasions in recent times. What an amazing tonic it would have been after the last one to have had a home win to celebrate, and the SC buggers it up as well.

Another fine margin, if Ocon had realised his car was fucked about 3 seconds earlier, he could have pulled into the old pit lane and not caused the safety car.

Difference is this weekend he was just unlucky with the SC timings and that happens, the end of last season he was unlucky with the timing of the SC, then the rules were ‘misinterpreted’ to manipulate the outcome of the race.

But i agree it would have been class if he won, he had a class drive sunday

The roar around Silverstone was unbelievable when it happened. I wasn’t even at Club but the atmosphere was amazing everywhere. Everyone was on their feet cheering.

As I was there I didn’t hear the commentary from Sky but just now seen this video. Makes the hairs stand up just listening to it.

I see Karen is crying more and more about the FIA clarifying the fact no part of the floor should flex and not just the bits they measure. I wonder how much it'll affect the RB once we get to France and they measure it all properly?

Apart from weight limits, they can be changed. And engine modes.
