Season Ticket Tracker

On the point of how accurate the tracker is, it's worth noting that it also counts any seats currently held in someone's basket as sold for at least 30 minutes (unless removed).

Serious question, if anyone has *chosen not to get a season card, what would it take to get you to buy one ?

*if you are able to financially/work or family commitments/travel etc. but chose not to.

Might have already been mentioned but why did the club say 28500 season tickets sold on the website when I checked out the away tickets availability earlier today?
That is a perfectly reasonable question. However, this is the SAFC website we discuss. The site is an appalling mess and has been for many years. I avoid it like the plague because it is useless. Luckily there are many other areas on the web where accurate info can be extracted from the junk that the Web also provides so readily.

Sunderland is a city laden with good IT companies.

Many of them build excellent Web sites. Maybe SAFC will one day hire one to create, manage and update promptly as required.

Such a site could even get to the dizzy heights of running Ticket, Season Card, Concert, Shop Stocking, Marketing and Financial Interfaces with their own existing systems (if they exist)!

Oh! They could even keep the admin offices, shop, and ticket office opening hours posted accurately on the doors of those offices and also in the program and the turnstiles.

I have a vision of board meetings with late arrivals being run on a table littered with scruffy, scribbled fag packets, conflicting printed, outdated spreadsheets, almost completed minutes and part empty teacups on cracked saucers.

That might be a little harsh. I hope it is.

Looks like it’s almost dried up of new takers.

My guess is it’s going to take a monumental signing to really push up the numbers from now on.

Mind if the open the premier concourse, it could open up patches of prime lower bowl seats if people migrate back.

Still amazing total though.
