Another reason not to listen to that station, tbf didn’t realise it was still going

It’s going to end in frustration and tears again.

such a shame but it’s going to be 1996 all over again, with the added relish of nobody choosing nufc as a second team or being the entertainers

thats what will hurt them more, national disdain

Would they go on a holiday there? I hope so, the smiles will soon change
This is an uncertain outcome, however, any success will be tainted and hollow due to the ownership situation.

I take it Mainz fans don't remember their own countries atrocities when they massacred over 6 million innocent Jews? I take it they'll be protesting about the Qatar World Cup? I beg to think what they'd do to one of their own players if they play in Qatar. Hypocrisy at it's best.

A Twitter reply I saw earlier

No state owns Newcastle.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
No state owns Newcastle United unless the FA and governing bodies have been duped and you and others know the real truth.
If so can you enlighten me?
do you mean that "assurance" they gave the PL? because that doesnt say the state doesnt own them.

Course it is.
You have thousands of mags defending Saudi Arabia all over the place.
I'd say more like defending the owners because some have lumped the new owners into a Saudi state owning Newcastle.
What about this , what about that, Saudi Arabia aren’t all that bad are they because of blah blah blah.
Many countries are bad, including our very own. It's just a case of how people want to compare one thing against another to suit any purpose for which they're arguing. In this case, it's Newcastle United on the agenda.
Your support is a desperate sportswashed success story for the Saudi regime and worth every penny.
My support has never altered no matter who was/is in charge.
Many mags normalising the beheadings of people as they were ‘terrorists’ (a terrorist in Saudi Arabia is someone who speaks ill about the Saudi regime)
I don't think too many are normalising anything. Most are simply being a fan and supporting the club.

You’re one of the worst ones spending hours trivialising shit on here
I'm one of the worst ones because I won't back down from a stance and it irritates a lot of people because those people would like me to apologise for being a Newcastle fan or simply follow their modus operandi. I'll do neither if it doesn't suit my thoughts.
The only people that can shut me down are the mods. Two have done so before, so if they choose to do it again then you don't have to see anything from me.
You must hate yourself so much trying to justify why you’re not disgusted as much as normal people
What I think of countries and their governments varies. Mostly I take little notice of other countries apart from what's shoved into our faces, whether it's deemed good bad, or ugly.
What I like or dislike is not down to you to choose for me but you're welcome to speculate.
I suggest you stop being ignorant. The Saudi state paid 9/11 bombers.
Where did you get your info from?
You see there's being ignorant of the truth or lies. We are reliant on media for our info and we all know the media do not always spin out the truth.
I question a lot so don't be shocked if I don't just always accept something as fact without proof or which has lots of questionable issues attached.
Not sure the louis dreyfus family are terrorists
Never said they were.
I've noticed when I'm out and about I see a lot more stinkers wearing mag tops than ever.
I live in Morpeth and before the takeover I rarely saw anyone wearing them. Now, without fail I see multiple mag tops whenever I go out.
If Sunderland were on the up you'd see Sunderland tops springing out from everywhere that you never noticed before. The nature of the beast.
Sky have just released a few TV games for the premier

Nufc v Man City

West Ham v nufc

Are their games. Zero points?
It's possible but I think Man City may sneak a lucky draw if Haaland's on his game. ;)
do you mean that "assurance" they gave the PL? because that doesnt say the state doesnt own them.
The premier league seems satisfied Newcastle is not owned by a state.
Could they be wrong?.... Yes.
Are they wrong?....who knows?
Do you know the facts?
how about pif, who own you, having a .gov.sa website? only state/goverment departments get those, just like .gov.uk ones. isnt that enough?
Is it enough for you?
If Kyril Louis Dreyfus funded the plane to crash into the shopping centre I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t want him to own our club.
And the same goes for Amanda or Merhdad or the Reubens with the metro.

If I hit the reply button my post is 2 pages long...but at Nukehassel.
No matter whether the earth is flat, round or even oblique your club is owned by a heinous regime that routinely beheads people, stones women and bombs children. No amount of deflection or trying to move the conversation away from this is going to stop this from being fact and that your club is complicit in their sportswashing exercise.

But everyone knows what the Saudi Government have done and are still doing. I knew well before they were ever linked with a takeover of Newcastle. You do know what they do, but you choose to turn a blind eye and disassociate yourself from any of it because you want their money.
I don't want their money.
We've all been told what many governments do or don't do and have done since news could reach us.
Most people take more notice early on and that notice wanes drastically as time goes on.
The only time people rise up is when something has more of a direct effect and this is just another example of it.
I seen/heard loads of your fans ripping Mike Ashley for been a crooked Business bloke and complaining he makes workers have zero hour contracts.
I'd guess he's not the cleanest of employers or businessmen but then again we could guess that about many, if not nearly all because you don't get very very rich without stepping on people's toes unless you are handed those riches on a plate.
Wonder if he's away to make a video?

Someone go egg him
Hope no one does.

They were hopefully grilling him about the time he got caught chatting to a young kid online

What about if your owners funded the plane that crashed into the World Trade Center? How would you feel then? Or if your owners approved of the murder of gay people? Or if your owners approved of the murder of a journalist? Or if they were responsible for the death of thousand of children? Would you still try to claim they don’t own your club because bragging rights mean that much to you?

Being hated by rivals and some people will not change most fans' excitement about where the club looks to be headed as it stands.
What happens later is for later and as any Newcastle United fan of age will tell you, they've seen the good the bad, and the ugly of supporting the club.

The rollercoaster ride is back on.
The excitement is back.
The hope is back.

It can all come crashing down or it can rise up.
The better we do the more hatred will ensue.
The worse we do the more laughs for the rivals.

It's never really changed in that respect.

Bragging rights mean nothing to me.
Who owns Newcastle is down to people to decide whether they have the facts or they have a storyline they follow based on no facts.
