If there's no budget or limit on signings why would they have a strict valuation on signings?
Surely they'd just spend whatever it takes.
🤷‍♂️

As far as he can tell he just guesses and then if they come off he emphasises that tweet and ignores the others. There is another similar one on twitter - https://twitter.com/RossAftbl - I picked him up on his lack of accuracy before and he told me I don't know football as things change. In which case anyone can claim anything if that's the get out.

In the seasons under Ashley, our average net spend (I know, I know, LOL-tastic, right?) is £9.5m. Bit of context, in the 10 seasons you were in the top flight while we were owned by Ashley, yours was £8.5m.

Brighton's 5 seasons in the top flight have seen them spend, on average, £10m. Leicester £14m. I bring up these two in particular because within the years Newcastle were owned by Ashley, they've come from League 1 and financial ruin all the way into (and in Leicester's case winning) the Premier League. Brighton are respected for the way they've shown ambition on and off the pitch, as have Leicester.

West Ham and Aston Villa have spent more than twice our net spend in their ambition.

Ashley's NUFC have done nothing. We didn't even properly fund the women's team ffs.

You can cherry pick the unusual splurge in the window and avoid any context that explains it, in an effort to paint Newcastle fans as 'dalewded jawdees 6inarow, FTM' if you like, but it just makes you look really silly.
Which, in-turn, made you an attractive proposition to be bought by the Saudis?

The fact Newcastle have come out and said they do have a budget and won’t overspend also makes him look like a tw8t

A, Didn't you (maybe not you personally) have walk outs, not buying season tickets etc when Mr Ashley owned the club
B, interfere with Mr Ashleys home and shops while he spent £Millions breaking club record signings while slagging him for offering zero hours contracts
C, Over 100K petition, FIFA "visits" a local MP asking questions in the HoC

Seems to me that option C has been well accepted
Murdering supporting stinking filth
NONE of you should be allowed to post your vile regime on here FTM
I bet you end every sentence in real life with FTM. Your post started sensibly with good points. But then….

Also as has been discussed, if you think it would be any different with any other club, including yours, you’re kidding yourself.

There's loads of fan bases that wouldn't want the Saudis anywhere near their club.

Are you having a laugh mate? You may have missed us having Ellis Short completely washing his hands on the club, resulting in back-to-back relegations, being takem over by ex f***ing Eastleigh owners - who publicly mocked us and made up stories to criticise SAFC fans. We then soent 4 seasons in League One.
Now, at any point did we petition our local MP to raise our plight in Parliament/waste its time (on three separate occasions)?
At any time did we organise mock funerals, stand outside of shops or go onto the media, bemoaning a mass toll on the fanbase's mental health?

So no, it really is different with every other club my friend.

Apples and pears. My friend.
But it hasn't happened to any other club it's happened to your club. It's your club that are owned by people who slaughter women and children. Absolute scum
Yes it has. Yes they are.
