Comments....going to claim to being victimised. Fuck me not as much as the people of Yeme, or gays, or raped women, or anyone with disagrees with them. They are mentally unstable these Goons.

I'm now at the point where we should just let them write what they want.

The takeover isn't allowed.
You're not allowed to spend money on players.
You can't have your change kit to be white and green.

It makes them look even more stupid by the day.

Plus, it'll get to the stage (if it hasn't already) whereby as a fan I'd claim victimisation and harassment . .""]]

I would argue they are of equal disdain.

Saudis commit more extreme crimes, but all in their own country. Plus all the oil.

Agri-food companies like Louis Dreyfus commit less extreme crimes, but in many countries around the world.

Saudis go all in for the murder, executions, murder, oppression etc. LDC will just go in for land grabs, displacement of local people, environmental and ecosystem damage. Murder will only be rare, if there is a particular problem to solve.

I think the Saudis are worse and should be shunned like North Korea. They have no place in British sports, and BAE should not be selling them weapons. It’s a disgrace they own Newcastle.

Companies like Louis Dreyfus just need to improve their game. Raising awareness amongst consumers about the abuses in the agri supply chain is the best way to get that change.

Louis Dreyfus still in Russia too:
That's alright then...

Credit where it's due - he must have dug deep to find that headline.

As well as having nothing to do with KLD atm, the article itself also states "Louis Dreyfus was the first of the four entities to halt its business in Russia in early March".

These scumbags are putting so much effort into their owner's sportswashing. Gullible fuckwits.

Are you taking the piss? Your owners are genocidal, child murdering filth.

And you're trying to compare them to our owners?

Enjoy your new away strip, you sportswashed cretin.

He's actually a Cheltenham fan. I have no idea why he's getting himself involved in this.

Has Micky Martin proclaimed them club of the North this already this morning?

Clutching at the thought of his bairns losing interest in red and white.

I think that's where your wrong.

The reason geordies are seen as a pathetic fan base is because of their lack of self awareness. Take away the North east rivalry.

Villa fans can see what you like and Everton fans can also. So it's not just a Sunderland fan bias that you lot try to hide behind. Many many people can see how spineless some of your support are
Other fans forums have long since stopped commenting on us and have moved back/resumed taking about their OWN club

Well, with their season over, what more pressing concerns could a Cheltenham fan have than to spout pro-Saudi lies on a Sunderland forum?

They haven't.

And it's our region you've invited these evil bastards to set up shop in. This isn't going to go away.

It is strange behaviour.
It’s a huge superiority complex. Narcissistic and smug , need to put people down and be nasty to others to feel self worth and importance.
Deeply worrying for whoever wrote that article
Let's say they're right, our finances are awful and we go bust or whatever. Or go into administration and fall through the leagues further. What is the material benefit that offers that person? Their own lives aren't actually improved, it's not like if we're good Newcastle can't be good. They already have it really good at the moment. The only "benefit" is that they get to see our supporters suffer further. Now I'm all for having a laugh at other teams' expense, but they have that already. We are already in League One and they are the richest team in the world.

The level of glee from the idea of seeing us suffer further, for daring to support another football team, is absolutely deranged. Writing an article for the sole purpose of trying to ruin other people's fun is genuinely weird. Where has that hate come from? I suspect it is from being sucked into far too much online discourse and building this triabalistic level of hatred on the internet.

I know that the author of this article will be reading every one of these comments - I genuinely urge you to take a step back and get off the internet for a bit. If football and "rivalries" is too much for you then please find another hobby. That article is so deeply unhealthy it's unreal.

Watching their dearly beloved get fucked daft off 'The Mackems' six times off the trot when its been drilled into them from birth that they're the superior NE race and Sunderlands a shithole and all the other drivel has broken many of them. Thats why they write shit like this. Thats why they've been spotted in attendance at god knows how many of our fixtures.

Odd bunch.

Goes the other way too though doesn't it. I see Sunderland fans on Twitter/ here where the Mags have utterly consumed their lives. It's really really unhealthy. They just support a different football team to you. Take a step back from the internet if it means that much to you.
I agree

I had a read of the article. It’s written as if all of our supporters were blissfully unaware of the problems the club faces. As if the supporter base of Sunderland were all naive children just scratching their heads as to why we find ourselves in League One (with a strong undercurrent that they’re more educated about their own club and very astute in their judgement of all things off field).

I don’t mind the piss taking, that’s par for the course in local club rivalries, and I don’t mind the kicking us while we’re down given the context of their new ownership situation. But their superiority complex and constant belittling of the club’s ticket pricing structure (because it’s really clever to poke fun at club in an area of the country that is socio-economically one of the most deprived in the country and has an ageing demographic) whilst being all self-congratulatory about the work and funds they raise for food banks etc is really unedifying. Sneering, superior and unbecoming of a club and city that has an equally proud footballing and industrial tradition as ours.

That’s a long way of saying I hate the bastards

We gave away 49k tickets but no one took up the offer and attended the games will be their line.

Who are their rivals now, Palace? As if we give a shit. We're in league one and still remaining positive and happy. They must be in a constant state of depression them lot.
Genuinely think that's what annoys them. They expect us to be continuously gutted because we're in league one. Obviously we all want to be back in the top flight but I enjoy supporting my club regardless. We have some canny away days, win some games, have crack with our mates on match day, get weekends at Wembley with 45000 others. You just make the most of it. Unless they actually break into the top 4 all they're going to do is tread water, I'm not half as envious as they'd want me to be, especially bearing in mind they're basically now a state club, ran by a state that probably hates just about everything you'd associate with Newcastle

Nailed it there marra, superiority complex, pure and simple....they have always had it.

They used to spit the term Mackem out when I used to work there in the 80's/90's as an insult, never been keen on it even when we embraced it and still don't use it myself.

Must admit, I deliberately don't go on twitter all that much any more because it seems absolutely full of these types. It's not banter, or crack, it's sad sacks who genuinely seem to hate people because they support a different club. Need to f***ing grow up
