If Howe was a local then that question would make sense. The reality is we will be as irrelevant as Charlton or Hull to him now.

If they finish top 10 the crowd will want a CL spot next year.
Maybe he would be better off finishing 14th this season so a top 8-10 will be the target.

He won’t start the 2024 season as Newcastle manager. Like you say, most managers could have achieved what he did.
