Could you apply your logic behind this playing at Wembley obsession that yous lads are on at the minute. Let’s say yous don’t win next week and have to do it all again year after year for the next five years and we still haven’t played a game there, but are still in the EPL. Is that what yous want, because by the sounds of it, that’s what would make you happier. Strange times.

Any of the older lads got our side of this tale. I was only 10 so wasn't there. I believe we won the away tie on penalties & I used to work with the man who missed for them Jim Pearson. He took the ribbing well.

Because Numbskulls in your fanbase think you should be signing Vinicius Junior when in reality you are a provincial club that hasn't won a title for decades who still dine out on 1995/96 and a Barcelona victory from 1997 and need taking down a peg or two.

I've taken all the playoffs, vases and trophies out....look at all the proper big teams and how often they have played there and look who you share "0" with.

Mate, there’s nothing false about what I post on here. I’m on here for debate and if some people can’t handle the truth then that’s not my problem. It seems some are on here just to absolutely hate on geordies and nothing else and that’s their prerogative. Remember it’s a forum pal. A place for discussion.

Has Wembley only been in existence since it was rebuilt ?? It’s like when people say Liverpool have only won 1 title, as if football started in 92, when the premier league and sky came along.

In the short time I’ve been on here I don’t think I’ve said anything out of turn towards mackems in general. I might have had a dig at something someone’s said on twitter. Us geordies have got to fight our corner on here but that’s why I came on. We get absolute pelters on here, but I wouldn’t expect anything else. It’s all part of the ‘craic’ as far as I’m concerned.
