Putin does not compromise, that’s the problem. And it’s already a humanitarian disaster. We should now be going in to help these innocent civilians.

Who's "we"? The UK? NATO? The UN? The reactions would be very different to each of those.

Which is why they invaded in the first place. They almost certainly thought it would be easier and the sanctions less harsh, but the end calculus isn't different than it was a month ago.

That's what I mean: he's threatened to nuke everyone. If you help him narrow down that "everyone" to you (and possibly a few others), especially if those countries are threatening enough that he thinks they might try to push him out of Crimea or anything else he considers Russian territory, it makes it a lot more likely that he actually nukes someone. And even worse, that someone is you.

The Ukraine can't win without the support of the west
Eventually the freedom loving people of the UK, EU & US will get fed up of paying twice as much to fill up there cars and heat there homes.
& the constant influx of refugees
They'll forced into a peace whether they want to or not, not saying I agree but that's just the way it is

And when Russia ignores that (which they would, at least to some degree), you then need to shoot down their airplanes.

How do you think it would go over to have UK fighters shooting down Russian fighters over a third country?
