Why mebbes but still, there’s blokes I know that you wonder how they have got to the age they areWas he though? I may be wrong but there's been rumours he liked the bugle and he never had a fag out of his mouth.
RIP by the way of course.
Great little story.MLF as well.
Ian Botham explained the rivalry to him, and because in the AFL the team he disliked the most were Collingwood, also nicknamed the mags, he chose Sunderland.
Some certainly do, and Warnie was one of them.I remember him signing at the top of the steps at the riverside changing rooms, must have been a good 30 minutes he spent signing everything and chatting/posing for pictures.

Tidied.52 is no age.Arguablythe bestleg spinbowler of all time. RIP
Same when I saw him at the Oval. Stopped for every handshake, photo and autograph. Took him ages to get to the pavilion while other well known former players just walked past unnoticed. Just wish I'd got a photo but I don't like to bother people when I meet them.I remember him signing at the top of the steps at the riverside changing rooms, must have been a good 30 minutes he spent signing everything and chatting/posing for pictures.

A great way to view an enemy that we were playing against,The only Aussie I ever wanted to see hit a century in an Ashes match, during that amazing summer in 2005.
Absolute legend of the sport, and seemed a good bloke too.
Very sad.
RIP Warney.
Mind he made the most of his life, was a great character and got amongst Liz Hurley.
