Sounds very sovietWhilst in principle this sounds great, I find myself a bit uncomfortable with the idea that the state can just seize property without compensation.

Ok 0.01p in the £ thenAgreed. Asset freezes are one thing, but the state isn’t supposed to be able to summarily misappropriate private property here.

Not NATO though why he does it100% this. He will get more and more unhinged and try more things like this as he realises his time is up. Worrying
Agreed thing is if it was being sold off and paid to victims of war fact is it’s going in the pockets of other money menAgreed. Asset freezes are one thing, but the state isn’t supposed to be able to summarily misappropriate private property here.
If any Russian military aircraft actually enter our airspace, we should shoot it down. Simple as that, it’s totally unacceptable behaviour. If Putin then says our actions are hostile, sod him, he would need to explain why he thought it was acceptable for them to be there in the first place
As every minute goes by my hatred of Putin rises exponentially
Interesting philosophy . Their assets were obtained by theft so we compensate the thief 100% of his swags value when police confiscate it do weNah. £1 to the £1.
This isn’t Russia. It shouldn’t work like that here.
I’m all for asset freezes. Not theft.
A shit load has happened over the last few days but iirc Putin has threatened both Sweden and Finland with ‘consequences’ if they try to join NATO.Sweden is not part of NATO but Turkey shot down a Russian fighter that temporarily entered its airspace to take a short cut on the Syrian border a couple of years ago.
Pretty sure their lawyers will have something to say about that…Tell them to fuck off or they’ll be sanctioned.

Someone on TV today was saying Ukrainian fighters are slowing it down. Might have been someone on BBC, can't remember. It did make me think it couldn't get much slower though. Maybe waiting to move into Kyiv when/if it's taken? Is anyone else wondering what the fuck the story is with this Russian 40 mile convoy?
Why is it taking ages?
Why haven’t the first few vehicles been blown up as if they were it would be a 40mile traffic jam?
Obviously the big lads and the welcome party is in Kiev but I wonder why those Turkish drones could have picked off the first mile of them which would render the whole supply line pointless.
I was reading that the drones can be controlled from anywhere on the planet so we could effectively have a CIA Agent in Langley sat rendering that convoy useless From his joystick.

And doing that will achieve what exactly? You must be logged on to see media items
The absolute shit he has spouted in favour of Russia would certainly suggest it. He is ideal for Putin. Not the sharpest tool in the box, wields a lot of influence in America and will do anything for money. You must be logged on to see media items
There was some tweet (cannot find it as it was on somebody’s Instagram who I follow) I saw that suggested that overall 100,000 Russian troops (70% of the total in Ukraine) are close to or completely out of food and fuel. This convoy slowdown could be proof of that.Is anyone else wondering what the fuck the story is with this Russian 40 mile convoy?
