I am allowed to discuss that the EU is more effective, but I can't discuss why it might be more effective?

Because this is a thread about an existential crisis in Europe that is an excellent place to keep abreast of what is going on. I'll stick you on ignore too as I don't want to post about it anymore. Why?
sadly some can't even accept buyers remorse either... its baffling that some can't see the threads of russian aggression and their own vote cast over five years ago.Daftie

i hope it sticks together, will be interesting to see how long the likes of Hungary stay onside for? i could imagine that when the fringes begin to waver they'll start looking for their own individual advantages, i just wonder if Russia will go on the charm offensive, or get the even bigger shittier sticks out?The Russians believed that the Western response would be divided and disjointed

im with you on that, its possible that everyone having a cameraphone and posting it all over the place might be a new kind of a 'fog of war'. im surprised that russia havent closed down the IT infra that allows ordinary videos to get out to the west, its almost like they want people to think they're doing shite... who knows.I have no military experience nor an enthusiast so could be well off the mark, but feels like Russia maybe slightly more in control than they are being given credit for which if true is slightly more worrying.
Time will tell. I assumed they would have been in Kiev with days. There was a battle for the airport on Day 2 and I assumed it would have been game over once they could fly troops etc in. That was repulsed fairly easily.I keep reading that Russia have miscalculated the Ukraine resolve, however I’m beginning to think that this was always part of Putin’s plan to send it a smaller more inexperienced and less violent, dare I say it sacrificial force to try and roll in to Ukraine and take control, with population, buildings and infrastructure intact.
With Ukraine’s resolve being so strong we are now seeing Putin’s Plan B to send in the heavy artillery and more experienced forces. Leads me to think that the Russians were aware of Ukraine inability to challenge its large convoys all along and that the Russian tactics aren’t quite as archaic as first thought? Clearly the UN sanctions may not have formed part of his plans.

Would take a completely incompetent lunatic to do something like that, Putin likes to portray the madman but he’s smarter than that I reckon.I keep reading that Russia have miscalculated the Ukraine resolve, however I’m beginning to think that this was always part of Putin’s plan to send it a smaller more inexperienced and less violent, dare I say it sacrificial force to try and roll in to Ukraine and take control, with population, buildings and infrastructure intact.

Nope, the exact opposite regardless of age will not support the regime or the war. The regime has been losing support for a number of years now, it was reasonably popular but as time has gone on, from what I understand, the greed of the regime is now getting on peoples tits.Depends on your age. A lot of older folk rely on state media but I suppose what you’re saying is a lot of people don’t really care about the controversy of this invasion and will support the regime regardless?
Haha, you think what is going on is not political in any way or doesn’t it fit your warped narrative?Do what you want. I'll just stick you on ignore for a few days.
