Not sure those TOS things could cause a crater that big. It’s f***ing huge

Imagine whatever that is times ten in Kiev. Off their f***ing bonces the Russkies.

no idea what that is, looks massive, I would want my Geiger counter out going near that.

I hope a lot of good for future generations of kids in Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia etc can come out of this.
I was talking to my Mam about it all last night on the phone as she went to Ukraine early 00's on a teacher's delegation and was really taken with it, brought me back a Ukranian Football Scarf.

She was saying when she was there the kids were having a debate on whether Freedom or Food was more important, and Freedom was resounding winner. Interesting to think most of those kids will now be fighting, and of the years of ideals behind what they're fighting for. Said there was a local election on as well, like for the mayor or whatever, and hundreds of people were out for it and really invested in the process of democracy.

Aye, I'm watching live footage of the UN general assembly emergency meeting now. Speech after speech after speech putting the boot in to Russia.
Look i'm no expert, but is that a good idea? They're clearly weak and on the back foot politically and economically now (maybe militarily too?). Does Europe seemingly humiliating them and attacking them really achieve anything? Sure, call for the end of the conflict, for peace etc. But we need to also leave some way (however hard it is) for Russia/ Putin to back down if they want/ need to. We only have to look at modern European history to see examples of that. Stamping their face into the ground will only tighten the Russian resolve.

Like when the ISIS mob stick 6/7 artillery pieces together for an IED. Whoever was near ain’t around anymore that’s for sure.

Absolutely barbaric this mind. Because his armed forces are performing poor as piss the weapons are getting bigger and bigger.

He’s fucked up. Exposed how poor his military is and the whole f***ing world is watching.

Lads, please - particularly @brandon and @MackemX, can we please all stay on topic and stop the bickering.

In these special circumstances we're bound to have a few new visitors to the politics forum, just looking for the latest news, so please lets not deter them.

Thank you.
@janey , @HellsBells, @look out piano - yous lot on the other hand can fill your boots
;)

One less positive piece of news from Ukraine. I have heard of Indian and in particular Chinese nationals (not to mention any Russians) living in Ukraine have been targeted by Ukrainians given their governments position in sanctioning / blocking / abstaining on global actions. I guess somewhat inevitable but adds to the impact of this all.
Poland is no different sadly and im tempted to say eastern europe in general. However the lack of education/awareness under the communists cant be overlooked. IMO it will take generational change before the situation really changes

Its a fair question, with a lot of other leaders you could probably humiliate them further, soften them up for negotiations, but with Putin, his mind is completely clouded by anger and rage. Its probably not wise to poke the angry mad man waving a stick of plutonium-239 about.

I think many see this as an opportunity to liberate the Russian people and economy from Putin and oligarchy. Keep stamping that face until no more breath comes out.

f***ing hell just seen a picture of a 6 year old girl, dead in the back of an ambulance with her dad sat next to her covered in blood in tears. It’s tragic man.
