Anonymous is a collective idea with various abilities and no doubt different ages. DDOS attacks are easy to implement using pre made tools on Kali Linux, but some of the other stuff is at expert level.

I’ve seen footage of their state run tv being taken over with blue and yellow very recently. If that’s true then hats off to whoever did that. I’ve dabbled in ethical hacking (more for awareness with working in IT) and it’s an interesting field.

I don’t generally agree with hacking but it has it’s purpose.

Maybes they accidentally used OWASP on their own site like some one where I used to work

There’s a theory that letting some ***** in the UK watch RT is an acceptable price to broadcast the BBC Russia/World Service over there…

What gets me is that presenters on it are from the UK. They have friends, family, neighbours. Probably raised an eyebrow or two over the last few years, but now they are being Lord Haw Haws for a regime which is shelling civilians and oncology units, I'm astonished nobody's put their windows out or paintstrippered their cars.

I hope everybody they know turns away from them when they see them, and their family stop speaking to them.

how Do you freeze assets in Russia? London Paris etc ok but assets in Moscow?

isnt SWIFT an international trading device, is it necessary for them to trade within Soviet Union

The central bank will have a lot of assets held abroad - that's basically now off limits

Swift is for international trading - so probably not much impact at home but a big impact RE imports & exports

The Ukraine ambassador to the UK said they didn't want people moving to the UK (or other distant countries).

He specifically asked for aid for those countries that border Ukraine so that refugees can be looked after locally, with the hope that they will soon move back home.

The UK obliged and sent a further £40million in aid.
It's nonsense to suggest that the UK is or was refusing to take refugees.
