A US carrier docked in Sydney when I first got here. My GF at the time worked in this dog rough pub no where near anywhere.
A crewman from the ship walked in out of the blue one Saturday and sat at the bar. He said he was returning from a few days leave and had just flown back into town. He asked the driver at the airport to take him to a pub so the driver took him well out of his way to that pub. Overcharged him as well.
