Others will know better, so please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think SWIFT is the software that most international payment platforms run on, it’s a sort of payment operating system, PayPal run off it for example, and maybe some banks use it also.

I was banned once without warning and I still have no idea why. Another mod (it may have been you actually) even said they couldn't see what I'd been banned for.

I can assure you that if the gaffer thought members were being warned or banned simply on a whim and without apparent reference to the rules then the mod concerned would certainly be asked to justify his/her actions.
