It's easy to fall into the trap of ignoring very real problems by writing off uncomfortable truths as Russian propaganda.
Far right nationalism is real in Ukraine, and elsewhere in Eastern Europe too. Even commentators in The Atlantic and Foreign Policy, significant US think tanks sponsors, who originally dismissed any influence in Ukraine re-assessed their opinions and flagged it up as an issue.
In realpolitik, people have to make uneasy alliances and we need to consider ramifications down the line. That's difficult to do when the heat is on because most people are too keen to have a side to root for and become blind to anything else.
