It’s naive to think that he wouldn’t attack a NATO country in my opinion. He’s already indirectly threatened nuclear strikes. We have to assume the bloke is playing his own game. The consequences of not doing so are too high.

During those years was the time to act if the west wanted to. Now it’s gone to a full scale invasion there’s outcry, if the west get involved now there would be carnage.

In essence, this is nothing but a skirmish between Russia and Ukraine, they’ve just got big guns to play with this time. What’s the worst that can happen when Ukraine falls, it goes back to where it was pre 2014 and the west start again with negotiations.

Putin will not go into any NATO territory either. IMO.

No, we don’t. This is between Russia and Ukraine. Nothing to do with us whatsoever. Our moral obligation as human beings would be to support any civilians who are displaced by all of this.
