The only thing that can cheer me up now is Berb announcing it's definitely not happening, just like he did with Defoe.
I missed that!.So bob the mad got it spectacularly wrong again?? who is his source?is it via a seance with Vauxie with Ned Doig as his spirit guide?obviously a delay in the celestial telegraph line was the cause.

Has keane played a blinder here? Had a chat and wants it, gets ItV to ask him about it and whip the fans up into a frenzy knowing they'll want him. Leak to journalists that he's been offered it.

Speakman then comes up and says it isn't done which leads to hell on within the fan base. Club under increasing pressure to give in to keanes demands.
Yes, and it isn't necessarily a good thing for us. If Keane wants to change the recruitment set up for example, that could be a backwards step. I hope that if he reviewed the interviews, references, available data etc and it pointed towards Keane not being the best man for the job, that Speakman would have the balls to fuck him off.
All this fan pressure and calling for heads after a few days is nonsense

Only a quick update from; Andy Reid is staying at Forest. Wants to turn the U23's fortunes around. Only won once in the last 12. I'm not jumping on that fake Twitter account by the way, go back several hundred pages now and it was me that said RK wanted AR. Won't happen now.

No, Speakman is just f***ing useless.
He’s an academy director or whatever, what the fuck does he know about getting managers in?

Edwards seems adamant Keane has been offered it. He’s perplexed as to why there’s been briefing to the contrary and seemingly think it shows incompetence / people out of their depth operating under the microscope

This is what I think. I've absolutely no inside knowledge but I recognise the rotten stench of an over thought PR exercise when I see one. To the point I'm fairly sure if you pointed out it was a PR clusterf**ck those involved would tut, shake their heads and sayb 'This isn't PR. This is Comms.'

I mean you can turn it on me if you like but feel free to show I’m wrong and put how much he has achieved in the last 11 years down to contradict what I said and prove me wrong? I’d be delighted if I am and he gets the job, but I fear hearts are ruling heads here.
Well heads have been ruling for the past 4 years and look where that has got us, zero passion and no manager, we are a Zombie of a club. Fans want Keane, it appears the major shareholder wants Keane, looks to everybody that Keane is up for it so why the delay??

I tell you what is definitely nonsense, the DoF telling all and sundry on a podcast that the previous head coach’s dismissal wasn’t knee jerk and that it was a cumulative thing and then telling club media a week after sacking said manager that they’re on a fact finding mission and shortlisting whilst we’ve fixtures coming thick and fast.

That’s properly nonsense. If Johnson was sacked and it wasn’t kneejerk following Bolton, the fact finding and shortlisting should have been done prior to the dismissal announcement with someone ready to appoint ideally in time for Doncaster but absolutely certainly for Cheltenham.
