NUFC Sportswashing 2022

Trippier is one month younger than Wayne Bridge was when he signed for SAFC for the 2nd half of the 2011/12 season.

Both 30 odd England caps, scoring 1goal.
Both won 1 major title.

I can’t remember much about Bridge’s time at SAFC. He never really seemed full of hunger and desire to succeed…
Had bridge won that literally the season before you signed him? Was be playing regularly then for that team?
Spurs fans were glad to see the back of him and wanted Aurier ahead of him says it all.
Shock horror spurs fans no fuck all.

Dont be distracted

“It’s not for us to say who should own , but players, backroom staff and fans alike ought to see this for what it is – sportswashing, plain and simple,” Amnesty
“Under Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, there’s been a sweeping human rights crackdown – with numerous peaceful activists jailed. There’s been a blatant whitewash over , there are continuing concerns and the Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen has a bloody record of launching indiscriminate attacks on homes and hospitals.”

I love the fact you have allowed how much he's being paid rattle you so 🤣

Ben Chilwell is on 190k a week.
Luke Shaw is on 150k a week.

Both play fullback and both play with him in England.

Watch you say how they are younger now 🤣
They are younger, they have a resale value. One has also won the champions league 6 months ago.

Does their age not matter? And trippier isn't at that over, how are they the going rate for a trippier when they're better players?

Which one of them is trippier better than?

No, it's factored in to their wages hence why Chillwell will be on more than him.

Trippier left Tottenham to jump start his career that had faltered a little bit. Even then Atletico offered him 85k a year.

Shock horror you’re a bore and you club is attracting nowt but crap managers and players looking for 1 last pay day

He’s pretty much accepted his England career is over 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm sorry mate, I can't be expected to know the ins and outs of a random lad two divisions below us. I misread the website and was proven to be wrong. At that point, I held my hands up.

It would be weird if I knew how many assists he had right?

12m rising to 15m is a lot of money? You have been out the Prem too long.
And on this, if you don't know the stats 2 leagues below. Why spout them off to go against the grain when you admitted you didn't have a clue? You're a wum and a clown mate.

So how is comparing him to two better players show its the going rate? Makes no sense.

Because I tried to give an example from your squad that would show that stats could be misleading. I knew Dan Neil was thought of highly so picked him. Obviously, it was very poorly researched on my part and I put my hands up. I could have picked better to emphasise the point but I stand by the fact that stats can be misleading. Statistically, Lampard was a better attacking midfielder than Iniesta - he scored a lot more goals. That doesn't make Iniesta a shit player.

f***ing hell better players - Luke Shaw 🤣 he's had one good tournament and can't even get in the Man Utd team.

I suppose one positive is that Paul Dummett, the very first mags player to turn to Sunderland to celebrate their takeover, has moved several steps closer to being on the scrapheap 😅

This is where a takeover like the Mags one during mid-seasom can cause difficulties.

95% of that squad know that they will be replaced and out the door at the earliest possible opportunity. And the manager won't be too far behind.

You will definitely get a few players, some of whom the Mags will need to persist with until at least the summer, who realise this and will mail it in thinking sod that.

I'm sure some will say "it's the same at any club" and "players will always want to do their best to prove to themselves blah blah blah", but that's not comparing like-with-like.
