Big drop in the attendance yesterday

Hardly any away fans came.
Been playing crap for weeks.
3 home games in 7 days.
3 weeks till Christmas.
Too expensive matchday ticket cost
New covid variant will worry some people.

Its a great attendance in league one still

It 'goes to show' nothing of the sort man.

Three of our group had made other plans when we got knocked out of the FA Cup. Other people will have swapped shifts at work becasue they thought we had no game.

Additionally, attendences are also worse at the start of December than any other time and Oxford brought 1,000 ish fans compared to Ipswich's 3,000. Our attendences are great and you are trying to make the numbers fit your perception and you are 100% wrong.

It was nothing like 1,000. Looked like fewer than 500.

The club could’ve easily done a deal for the three home games in a week to get more people in the ground but 26k is still a hell of a gate for the 3rd division. We’ll probably get the same on Tuesday as well.

Better than all but one Championship attendance and over 20k higher than the other League One attendance yesterday.

Oxford only brought around 600 so 26k home fans paid (I'm aware not all actually attended) for the game.

Dropped from 31k against Ipswich to 26k yesterday. Yes lots of people skint this time of year and xmas parties and xmas shopping etc but that’s still a hell of a drop. It’s just goes to show the supporters on here who are happy with the way the side are performing at the moment and a critical of those who criticise Johnson are in fact the minority not the other way around. The fans are voting with their feet.
Aye - but all season ticket holders will be counted in with the attendance regardless of whether they go or stay at home. So we will be posting crowd figures if 20k+ even if everyone stays at home.

It’s awful to watch atm that’s why.

does anyone actually enjoy sitting there for 90mins?Most people go out of habit I’m sure of it .

With part season tickets for kids priced at £39 there will be Christmas presents bought and nobody will care how little the cards are used - hardly a major investment.

Nevertheless, any such kids will be counted present at every game.

Have you ever posted a positive thread? You're either a mag or just a miserable kűňť. Which is it?

he has. Posted a thread (I think after the QPR cup game) about warming to Lee Johnson.

then started a thread calling for Johnson’s head after the very next game.

Ipswich brought at least 2K so that needs taken into consideration
Lots probably made arrangements to do something else as it was a free day before our pathetic defeat to Mansfield in the FA Cup.

Bottom line though is the whole club needs a bomb up it’s backside as despite the fact we are handily placed still, we have given up so much ground of late due to poor performances and results against the likes of Portsmouth, Charlton, Rotherham, Sheff Wed and uninspiring displays v Shrewsbury, Oxford etc that the non season card holders think twice about the time and effort of attending.

Every time we have games in hand we never seem to take advantage and since being demoted to this godforsaken backwater the number of times we have been in the top two can be counted on one hand. It just isn’t good enough and things are flat right now. Only wins and getting into the top two will change this.
