Big drop in the attendance yesterday

OP has become a self parody.

But as stated, it’s probably the last minute nature of this game + lack of a big away following (with the late notice a factor of that aswell) that’s made for such a drop. It will be back up to 29k next saturday

Dropped from 31k against Ipswich to 26k yesterday. Yes lots of people skint this time of year and xmas parties and xmas shopping etc but that’s still a hell of a drop. It’s just goes to show the supporters on here who are happy with the way the side are performing at the moment and a critical of those who criticise Johnson are in fact the minority not the other way around. The fans are voting with their feet.
There were 2,500 Ipswich fans up and about four bus loads of Oxford.

If you look at some of the threads he starts I reckon he could well be a mag trying to stir it. But he's devious about it and tries to disguise

Could be wrong of course, only theorising
You get them cropping up all the time, these Tits that try to Demoralize us at the first chance they get.

Are we not Low enough without posts like this ?
It’s like being stuck in a lift with morrisey and rod Stewart.

I said it at the time, it was stupidly short notice to throw a game in that weekend. Loads of lads we go with had already made plans / visiting family before Christmas as it was a free Saturday.

The football is shit and predictable so 26k is still a canny crowd regardless of the fact that there were probably about 20k there

Hardly any away fans came.
Been playing crap for weeks.
3 home games in 7 days.
3 weeks till Christmas.
Too expensive matchday ticket cost
New covid variant will worry some people.

Its a great attendance in league one still
Exactly this. Will be 26K again on Tuesday then probably around 30K on Saturday then probably biggest crowd of the season v Sheffield Wednesday. Absolutely nee different to any other season whatever division we’re in.
