Wrestling - Part 3

You can tell WWE don't have a clue what to do with KO, he'll have main evented 3 shows in a row next week, but also he'll lost all of em.

It feels like they don't want him getting anything, but they're putting him in the main event picture in the hope he changes his mind.
I don't think its not having a clue, it strikes me that he won't be re signing come January and will be on his way to AEW

So basically Windham told Vince the creative is shite he didn’t like it and fired him 😂
There's some fuckin stuff in here.

On Bray v Orton.

At one point, Fightful was told there was "never a true creative endgame for that story" that went on six months.

Also lotta people didn't think it was budgetary, and it well...

several other long-time stars said that they don't feel like their jobs are safe any longer, despite of their positions on the card or prior pushes.

Cutting Bray had a ripple effect on morale.

Just been reading about Mox, he’ll have a great support team around him Imagine the pop he’ll get when he returns.

Wow Keith lee, scarlett, kross, ember moon, nia jax, Mia yim...wow wwe loves burying talent
Hey atleast they were clever enough to release Eva Marie 😂😂😂 company is a disgrace literally just said they’ve made 260 mill and then release people due to BudGEt CuTs! 😂😂

Eva Marie might be the worst signing in WWE history. :D

Keith Lee might be the biggest waste of talent however, debuted from NXT entering the Rumble alongside Lesnar and Braun as that's where was his expectancy, ended up doing very little

To be fair to him he caught Covid and then nearly died.

He’s always a class promo 😂

THEY JUST RELEASED KEITH LEE AS WELL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 wwe the place you go to be buried

John Morrison's wife was only signed in February.

Nia Jax was reportedly released from her WWE contract because she is unvaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.

Eva Marie and Scarlett being released is a disgrace!

I was also marking for bear cat Lee, an old school monster gimmick. Worst releases I have seen in years this, worse than the massive one they did last year.

The timing of it more than anything else felt crass.

It was literally an hour after their Q3 investor talks about how they're doing better than expected and how they're expecting a record year in 2022 because of the Hulu deal expiring and alot of the PPV's next year are at stadiums rather than arenas.

It’s business.

i work with a us office and staff have got told if they are not vaccinated they are gone.

As contracts they hold with the government state / health care that all staff must’ve vaccinated.

As far as I’m aware nia jax is the only one who was not vaccinated (I know it says 4 but they haven’t been mentioned yet if at all) in a week where ROH has went tits up and wwe make 200+ million in a quarter it just doesn’t sit right with me that they are releasing people who can be top talent,
where do they go now aew? Possibly but they can’t keep signing everybody, NJPW? will the people who uprooted there lives to go to wwe now do the same to go to Japan? Who knows, impact, I could see Taya Valkyrie and the women talent going there,
GCW?, MLW? anyway my point is these people who have been released now find themselves in a real predicament with the indie scene struggling due to covid where a year ago they knew AEW was a easy option to join.

It all stems from the change of business model of NXT - It's pretty much the equivalent of the Papa John's trophy in football - Full of young blood complimented by a few veterans, if you don't fit in either category and you the main roster is too stacked you're pretty much out with no fault of your own.

Despite the reservations the reboot has been successful so far, but it does suck for the people who are neither a young recruit, a vet, or involved in the main roster.
