There are always two sides to every disagreement. Think this one will end up running and running. The lad played for Yorkshire, left, and then re-signed. I dont want to downplay any act of racism but if I was working somewhere where I was made to feel uncomfortable, I would find another job, and then stick a claim for compo in pretty quickly.

He’s admitted calling the bloke a “p**i” repeatedly and often. Of course he reckons they were best mates - he wasn’t on the end of constant racist abuse. How many abusers think they’ve done nothing wrong?

I wonder if Ballance’s “banter” was the tip of the iceberg and their were far worse racist individuals or is he just trying to cover his own back with that statement.

The report actually exonerates Ballance from any wrongdoing but also goes on to say they would have disciplined rafiq for using the term “zambo”. f***ing hell what planet are YCCC on?

If you read through the history to this, rather than focus on the allegation/leak that finally - after months obfuscation - woke the media up, then you will see that you are absolutely right: the whole culture is racist, rotten and there is definitely worse to come.
 
I'm fascinated where the club's former Aussie, double title winning coach fits into all this. Lauded by supporters and members at the time for bringing a forward thinking and international vibe to the club and a thoroughly nice guy allegedly. But this all happened on his watch so surely he's as guilty as anyone.

Aye, the forum Yorkies have responded excellently to this. Their club is rotten to the core, that’s not their fault.

I’m delighted the sponsors are pulling the plug, but it’s extremely sad that it’s come to that. The club should’ve made it right, they didn’t. FTECB should’ve made it right, they didn’t. Hitting the bastards in the pocket is the only thing to guarantee action.

Hopefully now the correct course of action will be actioned, so to speak.

Always welcome mate. Your club will survive, they just need to change and before that can happen, they need to accept they’ve been in the wrong. Clearly that seems to be the hard part.
