Anyone else think they might get something tomorrow? Good record v Chelsea at home. Chelsea without strikers? I know about norwich before anyone says.

Would love to see them into November without a win. Good chance for Burnley, Leeds and Southampton this weekend.

That first line is pretty damning evidence the vast majority have been desperate for this regime to take Nufc over - it’s not All of them though as I have a few mates who have followed them for 40 odd years and are really unnerved by it but they have a bit intelligence and a social conscience.

It’s got off to a pretty poor start though with the figureheads being footballing novices - 1 point from spurs and palace, no manager, signed Safc u23s coach which was likely in pipeline (pardon the pun) well before the takeover, other clubs lining up to make it as difficult as possible transfer wise, agents lining up to mug them off for last big pay days for slightly past best, big name players and the small matters of the van circling the stadium with a reminder of what happened in the embassy and the Palace flag.

They desperately need a result against Chelsea or they will be well on the way to being adrift by January, imo. Can’t imagine the SA government plans involved sports washing from the championship either.

Some thoughts

Lyrically its a bit simple

its a bit of a rip off of Country Roads - but there is very little totally new in music

Flying a drone over a football ground is illegal - I would expect prosecutions to follow

Its too long and the key change was not needed - its essentially a folk song.

Its very similar to "Home Newcastle"

I thought it was well shot cinematically and quite professionally produced.

Well he is Italian and they don't give a shite about corruption the way English people do, they used to trade to Gaddafi until he got killed, it finished off massive trade in Italy when he got overthrown as well, the UK appears to be aligning Saudi on a lot of things now which probably explains the dirty business of them buying Newcastle. It's all to provide links and relationships amongst the wealthy of the west.

All the while there's people being thrown off buildings, beheaded and kids starved out in Yemen to break their resolve it absolutely stinks like

Nope. Think they may get battered.

Still dont think theyll go down though, theyll pick up a few points over the next couple of months and theres enough poor teams to ensure they'll stay up when they spend some money in January.

Newcastle fans are not unique in their reaction to the takeover. If you honestly think that no other fanbase would behave in largely the same way, you're an infant.

And once again I’ll suggest that Man Utd fans didn’t start wearing cork hats amd drinking fosters when Murdoch tried to buy them. They organised and managed to get the deal cancelled.

it’s brilliant how every other clubs fans think you lot as pathetic as we do now.
