So if they was that bothered about the takeover money why did they let it happen?, why isn’t there a rule that owners aren’t allowed to invest more than £25M per season, the rest of the income comes from sponsorship which can not be more than £XM per year that levels it all out

So many people aren't understanding this rule.

It existed, pretty much as it is, back in 2014. The only difference is the inclusion of 'pre-existing business relationships'. Which means the Saudi owners can still sponsor Newcastle through one of their businesses, but it has to be at a 'fair market value'. So, no £300m shirt sponsors, but in line with West Ham, or Everton? Definitely.

I think they're realising the owners haven't a f***ing clue. The Saudis won't be arsed, their biggest reason to buy is Sportswashing. Try to deflect by saying "political issues to one side".

No other club in this country would have been sad and desperate enough to have knocked up a 110,000 petition demanding to be owned by a horrific despotic country. The “we only want a team of triers” is obviously bullshit looking at the average mags wish list. You all happily got into bed with Satan to buy blood soaked trophies. It’s horrific and you’re fooling no one.
