I noticed that and wondered what was going on. It was just a small pocket of Gills fans. There couldn't have been much more than 50 or so sitting in the corner behind the goal opposite us next to the main stand . The "trouble" seemed to have lasted all of five minutes.

More than likely it will be tried. It just depends on how shrewd the owners will be. I suspect all clubs get ripped off with some players so we won't be any different on that score.

Totally agree.

We all have our opinions of him, most negative, but to rack up 1000 games as a manager is a brilliant achievement.

It showed a total lack of class to have some kind of acknowledgment before the game.

They know exactly what they've bought. They've bought a fantastic football club in a fantastic city. A one club city..
They also know the squad. Stavely and co are not stupid. They know it needs a massive overhaul to get anywhere near the set up of the elite clubs.

It may not. Only time will tell on that.
However it's certainly looking like it will fare much better than what Mike Ashley could offer it and like it or not, the overall feel good factor is returning which can only be good for the restructuring of the club and city.

Cheers mate that’s the exact analogy I had in my head when I wrote the post but didn’t want to lead anyone …………… I can’t believe it but at last they have the owners they deserve, genuinely pleased the direction sunlun afc is going and even more pleased I’m not giving someone like the Saudi regime any of my hard earned dosh.
