Win, lose or draw i'm loving Durham this season. Competitive every match, good with bat and ball. I get the frustration with the 2 wicket keeper selection but we are watching a serious cricket team here. People should be delighted imo. Its night and day compared to recent years.
And it worked. Pay attention ScottDaryl Mitchell 4 overs 3 maidens from his slow medium. This is exactly the sort of thing we need, just dry up the runs so the batsmen try to take on the strike bowlers, or chew through overs to the new ball.
There isn't though. Weather forecast for Sunday is not very good at all. Be very lucky to get a couple of hours in. The latter part of Saturday is bit poor too.Need Jack to bat sensibly here. Plenty of time.

What a f***ing waste Bedingham. Nicked off trying to force the pace in response to Worcestershire drying up the runs.

I read that a bit differently. Durham are in a dominant position in this match because of their strengths. A wicket bowling attack is one of them. I don't look at Bedinghams dismissal as a waste, more another valuable contribution to get into the dominant position we are in. Of course the perfect cricket team would have all basis covered and we don't have that but very few teams have perfection. The wicket keeper issue is completely valid but i'm not for criticising Borthwicks captaincy in getting us to this position with the team he has available to him.
Matty Potts is playing at The Spa v Crook as we speak.Opened the bowling with Olly Gibson.Crook 66/5 opened up with Durham players of yesteryear, Andrew Pratt and Steve ChapmanGroan!
First time I've contributed here, so please go easy. I've lurked for years because I live in Ethiopia (have done for last 15 years) and can only follow vicariously. The renaissance of Durham this season is really exciting, particularly the bowling - yeah, I know, except spin. Hope it continues so that we can kick those who deserve it where it hurts. FTECB.Fantastic day up to now. Echo @rentaghost sentiments about how competitive we are in every game, fact is, every game so far this season has seen us in a strong position. We could easily have won every game looking back on it, as for today, just keep batting, get another 150 if we can and look to get them in for around 10 overs tonight.
