They don't always seem good at updating the parameters on the NHS website to account for people who have had subsequent birthdays.Day after my birthday when I turn 45. So I will be eligible then. Happy days.

You might just have to wait until they release the 40-44s.
Which will be in a matter of days no doubt here in Shields' as there surely isn't that many 45 to 49 year old's living in the town. It's a town with a population of just over 75k. Not that many. If the NHS PCT here in Shields's is working to local numbers of 45-49's and not vaccinating in accordance with how many 45-49's have been vaccinated throughout the country on a national level then I predict that the 45-49's ought to be all done by midway next week. Especially if the rate of vaccination is kept up or even sped up.They don't always seem good at updating the parameters on the NHS website to account for people who have had subsequent birthdays.

My mates booked his and he's only 41
If it makes you feel better, I'm 29 and I had my first dose in February.Whole? I wouldn't go that far.
Ironic that it is a name like Humbug who actually is one of my supporters.
It's tough though on those who are 44. They wait for months and yet another group show up ahead. But what is to stop those who are 44 changing their year from 1976 to 1975 on their DOB?
That would be queue jumping and should be punishable by death.

That info IS correct mods.
Not really marra. If it makes you feel better, I'm 29 and I had my first dose in February.
Seriously, though, they should be able to identify your DOB from your GP surgery's notes, so I wouldn't bother lying when you book the vaccine appointment. I'm not sure, though, because here I got a text asking me to book it by calling my GP surgery, meaning I haven't actually seen the website.
Did the same luckily.Has anyone had a confirmation email/text ? Fortunately i took screenshots of our appointments but was hoping for some sort of text/email just to confirm its definitely all booked
im not sure anyone knows difinitively so probably cant answer, rather than wont. Not really marra.
But a question I keep on asking but always get's ignored time and time again because people are either too scared give me an answer to a perfectly mature question when I ask one, or can't give me an answer because their moral high ground isn't as high as they make out, is this.
OK the South Tyneside PCT (Primary Care Trust) is now like the rest of England vaccinating the local population of 45-49's. But what I want to know is this.
Are they working to local numbers of 45-49's so once all 45-49's in town have been vaccinated they will straight away move on to the next group, or are they working to the national population of 45-49's so once all 45-49's in town have been vaccinated they won't move on to the 40-44's till all 45-49's are done in England.
