FWIW, thoroughly enjoying thisI’ve found an outstanding release from last week that might interest this thread.
Rocket to Kingston by Bobby Ramone
It’s an album of Bob Marley covers done in the style of the Ramones. It’s very good, more than just a novelty record. It doesn’t appear to be mash ups as the song titles suggest but it definitely sounds like Marley’s vocals used.

Will give this a spin - listening to Zero Dollar Bill and I like it. Thanks!Do Nothing have an EP out too. Probably worth a spin.
I’m actually giving it a proper listen for the first time now with headphones(just had it on in the background before).FWIW, thoroughly enjoying this![]()
Yes, definitely mashups - reminded me a lot of Go Home Productions stuff from several years back where he used to juxtapose odd combos to make some great stuffI’m actually giving it a proper listen for the first time now with headphones(just had it on in the background before).
It’s definitely a mash up album, but the Ramones guitar/drum track being used isn’t the one indicated in the song and I hadn’t picked up on that with it on in the background (especially with my dodgy ear) - Jammin’ Affairs for example uses the Jammin vocals, but it’s the music from “We’re a Happy Family” not “Havana Affair”.

There's new Sorry on the way next week as well, think there was some fans of their debut record on here
Don't know how this panned out for you, but he's playing Back & Forth in full tomorrow night, plus covers from this albumThe new Pete Yorn covers album which was Bandcamp only for a month has now dropped on the usual streaming services.
I’m a bit fed up of lockdown covers albums (Molly Tuttle’s is the only one I’ve really enjoyed) but I’ll give this a go now it’s free to stream.
Got the new Tiggs Da Author album on at the moment, perfect Friday listening.
Think Do Nothing is a real triumph although admittedly biased with my local pride in them.
Rolex and Uber Alles the stand out tracks for me but excited to see what else they can show soon
There are new albums this week from Belle Orchestre, Chad VanGaalen, Ghots of Vroom, Jane Inc.,John Dwyer, Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey, Lo Talker, Loretta Lynn, Middle Kids, Sting, New Bums, Janet Simpson, William Doyle, The City Champs, Fimber Bravo and Nermin Niazi.
Hardly heard of any of them. Any you can recommend that have a bit of edge to them ?
Loads of the new stuff I listen to I only get through one listen as they are to wish washy, flakey and weak.
LDR is the main one for me, even if I haven’t fully forgiven her for wearing a mesh Facemask on her book signing last summer. There are new albums this week from Belle Orchestre, Chad VanGaalen, Ghots of Vroom, Jane Inc.,John Dwyer, Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey, Lo Talker, Loretta Lynn, Middle Kids, Sting, New Bums, Janet Simpson, William Doyle, The City Champs, Fimber Bravo and Nermin Niazi.

I’ll probably check out John Dwyer (he is the OhSees guy yeah?), and Google makes me think I might like New Bums
