Shambolic Covid Vaccine Rollout

Just an update.
I work above a jabbing station and have watched all the over 70s going through over the last few weeks.
All on time ( early ) straight through and into the 15 minute jabbin cabin , then picked up by relatives.
Brilliant process and plan , poetry in motion.

Sadly , this week they have moved onto the "underlying " group, and we have kick offs with alchys, druggies etc .
Turning up when they feel like it, arguing with the nurses, pissing against walls .
Refusing to wear masks due to underlying, bringing in mates with them , slavvering the staff.

The nurse who runs the show said they are only getting half as many through, due to the calibre of the patients.

Shame really, after seeing a month of the best of British , now we are seeing the worst.
I know the NHS doesn’t judge or discriminate but bloody hell some people simply don’t deserve help.
There’s thousands of over 60s who have kept fit and healthy and these scrotes get priority.
This isn’t a dig at the genuine , not self inflicted , underlying folk who genuinely need help.

Wankers should be shown the door and told to fuck off

There are some arseholes in the world, unfortunately the NHS still has a duty to care for them. Anyone who deals with them has my utmost respect, because i couldn't do it

Some f***ing eye opening people getting the vaccine this last week or so when I still know folls who are vulnerable in their late 60s who have yet to have it

Not sure what people get from this thread like

It’s people either ignoring the fact we did have major teething issues at the start, as evidenced by someone actually involved in it, or it’s people just looking for bites.

Very odd behaviour indeed

We're they major though... Teething problems yes and when the strategy changed to space out the jabs there were a fair few rescheduled but other than minor issues what else have there been.

Supply issues the biggest and that's in the hands of the manufacturers

ThTs exactly the point. On such a mammoth scale, it would be highly unusual not to have teething issues. But “the proof of the pudding ...”. We know initial issues were quickly resolved as is evidenced by the figures produced. I think it’s rather sad there are those who want to focus on hiccups in any strategy. I rather think it says a whole lot more about their thoughts / negative style of thinking than reality as seen is clearly seen in the evidence.

Indeed they were issues, but there are people on this thread who don’t quite know their arse from their elbow giving it large.

Weirdos

The volume that are being done.. 40-50 million people needing 2 jabs. There hasn't been any hold ups other than supplies.. we ramped up relatively quickly when compared to looking at many other comparative countries

Depends what you consider a major issue.

The rollout is going really well now but people are using hindsight to hammer the OP to make a political point. Some pathetic folk use this forum mind

Tbf, it could be said that the original OP was also trying to make a political point in his eagerness to criticise.
I agree but it’s a bit different when people use hindsight to do it, as if delivering 500k a day now has any bearing on issues at the start. Same people who were slagging off the PPE, the lockdowns, the u-turns etc will now be championing the Tories and the vaccines at the locals...

At no time has the vaccine rollout been 'shambolic'. Think most have a issue with the OPs headline grabbing wording.
