Next 3 games very winnable too. Pick up 9 points and we may very well be in the fight for automatics.

Starting from the Burton game we had 5 games that on paper looked very winnable, first 2 are won. If we do win the next 3 I think we'll be knocking on the door and it will set us up for some big games in the final run in, basically putting it in our own hands.

Right now is the most confident I've felt that we look a promotion type team in a while, maybe since the 1st half of the Ross season.

We have to remember though that there is only one Lee Johnson.
I think he has showed very real intelligence since he came in.
And commitment to get it right.

Moyes,remember him? Dour Scottish dick.
Coleman couldn't stop the slide.
Ross, a good manager both before and since but couldn't match expectations.
Then hopeless Phil Parkinson. People talk about Buxton and Butcher, maybe Brown in his second spell, but that buffoon.
Played some of the most boringly ground out games I've ever watched ...since 1959.
For the first time since BSA and the Everton game I've a spring in my step.
Keep the faith and FTM.
Thay are down. Feel it in me watter.

Just keep plugging away. As I've been saying for a few weeks; even if we miss out on top two, if we're in form heading into the play-offs, that will stand to us.

Consistency of performances has been missing ever since we arrived in this league and this is the first time we've really put together a decent run of good performances.

Well done to the defenders for not conceding any shots on goal. They team look quite solid even with a few missing injured.

I wonder how the other teams’ squads will cope with 2 games per week until May.
Ya last line is spot on mate, the answer is they wont.
Peterborough are absolutely flying as well.
They usually blow up,might have to beat them down there

Last three league games scored 9 and conceded 1.

Free flowing now .......................................................................

In the last 10 league games, only Peterborough and Oxford are in better form

We're only 7pts behind Lincoln and have to play them at home. 1pt behind Portsmouth and 3 behind Hull with 2 games in hand. Our gd is good anarl. Beat Crewe on Saturday and I'm sure we'll close the gap on at least 1 of them. We Just have to keep winning and I'm sure we will

should be looking not only to keep up the good form, but to improve from where we are. obrien, fair enough he scored today, but he needs dropping. simply doesnt do enough for 90 mins week in week out.

when we get a CB back, onien needs to be moved into CM instead of leadbitter. aye he has spells of playing decent, but too many games passes him by and he's on his way out, unfortunately

Always one eh, we have won. Clean sheet. Results go our way and "our fans" slag our players off.... Unreal

17 games / 51 points to play for. Imagine being a Lincoln player, in their form, after getting shafted 4-0 then not getting to go to Wembly, realise they're still 15 games from victory with McGeady and Wykesey breathing down their necks.

Everyone else is fucked, we're basically up, by my maths.

The league will change shape really quickly if a team can pick up 9 points in 8 days. We may get automatic promotion even with the disappointment of more unexpected points dropped. It’s a big ask but not out of the question.

who have i slagged off? its so typical of 'our fans' that we win a couple of games and all of a sudden every player is untouchable. this is how the cycle continues of us being shite. there is nothing wrong at all at looking at a good performance, looking at a good result, and thinking 'how can we make this even better'

its what all top organisations do

On the basis of every promotion season I have watched, I don't think whether we will go up will really be about our run of fixtures either way.

It will be about whether we can just consistently keep getting results, like we did under Keane in 2007 or McCarthy in 2005. Under McCarthy we hit an 8 game winning run from February to April. Under Keane, we went 17 games from January to April without defeat (and won 14 of them).

That's the kind of run we need now. Three wins is a start, but we have to keep it going for a while yet to stand a chance.

It did look last night like watching a potential promotion winning side - not because we were brilliant (we weren't), but because there looked like a real hunger and resilience and momentum about the players (both goals were examples of that).
