it absolutely is. People can talk about new ‘headhunters’ being involved on behalf of the ‘new’ owners as much as they like but what’s happening here is an internal restructure with ribbons and bows tied on it.
Yup that's all it is. The cowboys having a few more quid to play about with. Concerning
It’s always been that since it was first mooted
Yup. I had hoped it may change which would be great for the club, city and fans but it's not looking that way.

People also talk a load of shite (see above)

point out where the shite is and I’ll give you a like.

Going forward, it appears that the CEO will remain in position as well as the financial director. All existing owners will remain with renegotiated share holdings and a new lad will be coming in. There is a new director of football and a manager who absolutely has not been headhunted by anything or anyone other than some of the existing regime.

The manager is being appointed by the Sporting Director, who was headhunted on behalf of Sartori and Louis-Dreyfus (Source: L'Équipe). Rodwell and Lowes staying is an irrelevance - they're just there to ensure the back office runs smoothly.

The fact you don't know speaks volumes.

f***ing awful from our "fans" this, stinks!!

Quick lads, something new, lets find faults! First one wins a pint! Relentless.

Confused as to what role people think Donald & Methven will be playing here? Methven hasn't had any input for about a year and Donald was an absent owner before putting Rodwell in place and stepping back.

No way these appointments or the structure being put in place has anything to do with them. Dreyfus is a billionaire from a family of multi-billionaires - people like that do not associate their name with failure - or allow insurance salesmen from Eastleigh to spend their money.

I wish the new director of football and head coach every success. I can’t bide my club being in the third division and hate the celebration of mediocrity. If the new director of football can get us out of that in the long term then fantastic.

Im not convinced that there are drastic or major changes in terms of the ownership of the club as things stand and until that changes, I’ll remain pessimistic

Short was a billionaire...

Have you watched Speakman's interview?
Watching it now. Immediately mentions "ownership group" then mentions "owners". He then highlights about staff been made to feel love/wanted.... Given the way these cowboys have treated some staff, this fella has a job on his hands to change that "ethos". He then says about the right level of personnel/expertise.... Getting rid of John Cooke doesn't fit that ethos either and isn't in any way a pragmatic approach. He then mentions about the connection between fans and the club who need to install values and behaviours. He's in for a shock this fella if Donald and his little helpers stick around as they have installed nothing like that from day one. He speaks well, lot of buzz words which always raises a smile with me as I find them funny, but I just don't see it happening if Donald etc remain. The way he's talking it sounds very much like Donald etc will remain.

Good interview but have reservations as we had the same crap when Paul Reid joined. Not that fussed on Johnson either but again that's probably from being let down time and time again.

I would be more comfortable with all of this if the takeover was officially announced, I understand it looks like it's been sorted, but until it's confirmed you just never know with the two dickheads in charge. Also find it odd that despite it seeming like Dreyfus and Satori are calling the shots (can't see Donald and Methven trying to put a structure in place) but it hasn't been announced formally yet.

Fortunately you can stick with Hartlepool.
