Would expect their principles might prove a little more flexible if they get the chance.
Huddersfield sounds like it was a bit of a basket case, so I do wonder if "want full control" is less a principle and more of a pragmatic "we want full control here" because otherwise its going to tank. They seem like pragmatists in many other senses and this is a big opportunity for them. Besides which, if its a principle and they're as ambitious as they let on, then they are going to find it hard to get jobs in the upper echelons where this structure is becoming close to a given.
