Daughter - IPad, clothes, make up and other stuff

Son - Samsung tablet, super heroes, imaginext, minecraft, fortnite figures

In short too much, I’m sick of trying to stop our lass (no) buying shit. She goes overboard anyway and this year being so crap has give her another excuse:lol:

One of my lads at work was telling me about something on Facebook where you put together a present and card for bairns in the local area who havnt got much money etc.

that’s a good idea and I think a few on here should get involved in this.

should start a thread on that

18 year old daughter ... Dyson Straightners
9 year old daughter---- Nintendo switch
5 year old daughter...... New bike
21 month old Grandson....Balance Bike and Kitchen
17 Month Daughter.....Peppa pig kitchen

just ordered her a little goal for in the sitting room, she’ll be 17 months by xmas, our lass will sort the rest and tell me how many 100’s I have to pull out for it all the day before pay-day

It upset our Lass like.

I think what sent her over the edge is when I told her there is bairns out there that havnt got a en-suite bathroom, walk in wardrobe and some even sleep in single beds.

All jokes aside it needs a thread and it needs someone who has Facebook and that to post links etc.It upset me when I heard a poster on here was on their own Xmas day and are struggling.Felt like inviting them down ours

aye there’s not much what brings a tear to my eye but the thought of kids waking up to nowt on Christmas is heart breaking like

My local councillor has organised something. You can either ask for a child and she'll tell you the details of the child so you can buy things they will like. Or you request a household and she'll tell you how many you're buying for and you can make up a hamper of everything they will need to make a Christmas dinner. Thought it was a good idea and you'll know your donations will have definitely helped someone.

Me and Mrs C went through www.feedingfamilies.org.uk. It’s a registered charity and they means test the family etc so it’s all agreed and they give you a checklist, I assume they are always after more people to donate so shameless plug from me if anyone wants to help out.

My Mrs has done this and so have her mates.

The lads have chipped in to help out one of our mates (a teacher) who's struggling this year.
