i don’t necessarily think so. I think the mistake we had last time was that Congerton arrived before Poyet agreed to stay on. He saw himself as in charge of recruitment to the point he signed the players he wanted, not players the manager could use effectively.

They need to be on the same page, but I’m not sure it matters who comes first. If Poyet is their choice then a SpD who can provide him with the right tools is what we need.

It doesn't nesseccarily mean Rodwell is making any decisions here. The club are hardly going to state at this point that the potential new owners are to make this decision are they?

Sometimes I think people say its made up because its not what we want to hear. Same as the Donald takeover. Anything negative including the daily mail article was dismissed as "Magedia".
